Love to stuff those cocky Aussies!
Looking forward to this... if the pitches allow I think a bucket load of runs will be scored at a high rate.
the winners will be who can take the most wickets at the cheapest rate I think.... (obviously...)
Seems like a few ODI's have changed some fans minds about the upcoming Ashes.
Australia to win - easily
STILL GOING FOR AN AUSSIE WIN.......
Think the ODI series has given a false impression of what to expect from the test team.
For me if we are victorious it will be a bigger achievement than the 2005 win.
At the end of the day its same captain that lost 5-0 to Aus, lost at home to Sri Lanka and failed to overcome West Indies or New Zealand
It's 2-2 written all over the place.

It's a guess, like all my predictions - but if you read my profile I wouldn't call it a "patriotic" guess.
England's problem will be taking 20 wickets, no class spinner and not sure who back up to broad and anderson. Batting not a problem with cook back in form and root, stokes, butler have been class recently. Expecting some high scoring test matches.
Going to need Wood to really step up of they are to take 20 wickets. Not mpossible but you have to admit it is going to be a tall order. I think the Aussies could be over-confident so maybe that could work againsy them?
I think it'll be 2-2.
I'm going for a 3-2 thriller!
England will have issues taking 20 wickets??? England will bowl very straight and just about off stump to the Australians.. They will find it difficult to score..I hope we prepare slow wickets..
And bowl very straight..I fancy the likes of Anderson and Broad against the Australian top order..
the series will comedown to .. Enlands batting against the aussie bowling.. Eng need to get at least 350 every time we bat..
Later on in the summer on flat wickets.. theres no reason why England who bat all the way down to 9 shouldn't get decent scores..
So Australia scored 500 against Kent.. its Kent for heavens sake..
if England get bowled for 200 all the time. we deserve to lose.
Good point. It is all about Cook, Root, etc making the big scores that will underpin decent totals for England that then give the bowling attack the confidence to stick it to the Aussies.
Stuart Braod is looking good in the domestic games.
Ridiculous anderson has not played any kind of cricket since the nz test. Looks like he will only now play the 7 test matches this summer. He's going to be rusty.
Or refreshed and well up for the challenge?

Rashid makes the squad along with Ali! Interesting days ahead.
Raptít is stalking me like clicky chàv
Rashid can bat and obviously can bowl better than Ali.
I think Ali may surprise a few and may have more of an impact than Rashid if he is the determined sort.
Obviously hoping they both bamboozle Aussies left right and centre, though!
Am I the only one that thinks the is a test series between to mediocre teams? Watched the Aussies last year where they got battered by an average pak team in UAE, they are nothing but a dads army. England have a fairly newish middle order, and still yet to be fully established. But the sides are evenly matched, which should make it a cracking series.
The real test for England will come against Pakistan in UAE and then their tour to saffers.
