Yeah 350-370 looks about par for me on this wicket.
I liked the fact that England were positive today, it would be very easy at 43-3 to retreat into your shell and allow the run rate to tank.
Go out with a positive frame of mind, play some shots and put the Aussie bowlers under some pressure.
Johnson should lend Root his mustache, poor lad.

Definitely a finely balanced test but I think England shaded it yesterday. As others have said it's better to have runs on the board but remember Cardiff '09... too soon to judge the wicket or a par score until the Aussies have had a go on it too.
England slightly ahead from 1st days play IMO...
as C H said above, you need to see both teams bat before rashly making judgments as Englands score could already be more than enough or nowhere near enough...
looking forward to seeing how Oz get on batting later.
