It's all coming from Ramos' camp, they've been leaking shít to the media all week. I don't know what to believe.

Gonna be hilarious when he signs a new contract

United are determined to use David de Gea as leverage and are prepared to prevent the goalkeeper from leaving this summer.

Fùck yeah, this is what I want from Ed. To grow a Facking pair.

They're going to get him a massive contract at Madrid more than likely.

Or they'll say f-ck you, sell him to us for silly money and buy Otamendi as a replacement and he will end up being really good for them while Ramos will get sent off for slapping Kane in our first game of the season.

Apparently Madrid have been in contact with Valencia over Mustafi.

David Moyes had him at Everton and gave him a free transfer

Yeah don't think he ever played a game for them.

His agent (and father) said there's been contact with Madrid. Is Mustafi good enough to replace Ramos though?

Why are you linking the dross papers?

In other news, Hiddink is residing from Holland. Blind's dad takes over for now.

They are all dross... give it up telling people to stop linking crap papers. All of them make rubbish up, the Telegraph too and The Guardian often get stuff wrong too on transfer speculation/rumours. Some just worse than others like The Metro !

Dunno really not seen him play much.

Not really..... so is Ramos coming to United or trying to get a better contract at Real ?
Apparently Koeman says no serious bid from United yet despite many reports that he will sign this week.
The public don't have a clue, they can only go on what they think are credible stories or which writer they trust on past rumours etc. It's not common sense.
Common sense didn't see PSG buying Luiz for £50m for example.
Being one of the biggest clubs we are linked to everyone and anyone so it's not easy to decipher the rubbish sometimes from a tenuous link

Common sense would conclude that we would like to buy Ramos but Ramos could simply be using us to get a better contract. Common sense would also conclude that we are interested in Schneiderlin.

You have claimed 'They are all dross' regarding the media, that isn't true.

But this is what you said
"But usually common sense enables you to distinguish which stories are probably true and which ones aren't."

then you just go on to say Ramos could be using us, so which is it then ? It's not common sense as it could be either which you say so yourself, people simply don't know.
There are no quotes from anyone at Utd saying that they even want the player yet many a paper saying we do and have even made an offer. Common sense doesn't come into it at all. It's just what you choose to believe or not based on what your read and who you judge to be reliable.
Telegraph are running crap stories now and some of you bang on about how great that is. They all make crap up or get things wrong. Sky, The Telegraph, Guardian as well as the red tops and the Metro etc. Even Sky now like to quote other sources and BBC run gossip page of all papers combined so they can get in on the speculation too.....

Anyway it's all trivial...

We can be interested in Ramos as well as him wanting a better contract, the 2 things aren't exclusive from one another.

Ramos like any sensible person will do what is best for his career and life in general. Whether that's to stay in Madrid and try and get a better or contract or to move to United and try something new, we don't know. But we can still say that from what has been reported it seems very plausible that we are interested and Ramos would like a pay rise somehow, either with Real or by moving to us.

He may just fancy testing himself in a new elite league, whilst he still can.

Still not getting overly excited though. We've been here before.
