DH - i can respect that but its just so far off from my experience that it blows my mind. Loved all of the characters especially Marston. Wish something wouldve come of him and the girl(cant remember her name). The story captivated me and single handedly got me interested in westerns which I wasnt a fan of at all before.

The land was amazing to travel as well. So varied. I mean it was generally very deserty but it was never repetitive. Landmarks became instantly recognizable.

Tapping to ride a horse faster I had no problem with. I mean its basically what you do when spurring on a horse but in controller form.

I went about 1//2 the game without using (or knowing how) to use slo mo shooting so basically manually shot everyone from on horse or off. Made it so much more challenging and fun. After I realized I could use slo mo I basically challenged myself to avoid using it if I could.

I played it a little late so avoided any glitches maybe through patches? Not sure but at the very end of the game I knew isntantly it was one of the greatest games I had ever played.

Just to let you know tapping only got the horse faster, if you held it the horse would stay at the same speed

I am aware. What I dont remember is did the speed gradually slow anyway? Hmm

Fell in love and still in love with FF7 and I did play Zelda Ocarina of Time and enjoyed it but for me it didn't compare with FF7.

Liked FPS games like rainbow six the first one on PC but when COD started to really take off I just wasn't that good or either that interested. I could acknowledge that it was a good looking game but it didn't do it for me.

Skyrim disappointed me big time, j spent about 15-16 hours on that game at different points trying to get into it but I just don't like it. I'm selling my copy now Although.. I might try oblivion, is it worth it? As I've heard some people who don't like skyrim but loved oblivion?

Loved metal gear solid 1 but the rest got worse and worse for me, played 3 and 4 (and 2, 2 was alright to be fair) but just did not like the gameplay or anything...

Couldn't get into Final Fantasy at all, tried it a few times but get bored very easily, same with Metal Gear Solid and Cod. Don't know why as I like my FPS's but COD always seemed empty and soulless too me???

I loved Unreal Tournament, Quake, Doom and Wolfinstein...

Not so keen on the FPS nowadays though!

I was a massive AC fan when it came out. Loved 1, though 2 at the time was the best game I'd ever played and really liked the changes they made in moving to Brotherhood. That's where it ended for me though, got the next two but it was just repetitive and there was no innovation. I came close to buying the new(est) one in the shop a couple of days ago, but went for the new Far Cry instead, and don't regret it for a second!

If you haven't played Assassin's Creed IV that's back to the quality and innovation of ACII. Just sailing about and engaging in naval battles can be fun, especially with the sea shanties.

Revelations & III were just treading water and had very little challenge to them.

Ah I will check out IV Hobo, cheers buddy

Yeah I may try to get back into the AC series, but tbh there's so much going on in FC4, it may be a few months before I get around to buying another game. I've only ever bought a dozen or so for my console (360) as don't usually have the time to play loads and loads

You have named pretty much all of the most popular gaming franchises outwith Nintendo. Do you actually like video games at all?

I actually love retro as much as new games, but as said before I've been underwhelmed with the current gen so far!

I know what you mean my friend, it has taken a while but I have started to fall back in love with games after a period of just thinking everything new is shít, but honestly go back and play some of these games and you go "oh my god, this is terrible!"

Back to the everything new is rubbish is kinda like how I was for a small period of time.

Some people old or young only prefer a certain time period, whether its retro or current or a certain genre and this goes from Games, music to even films.

Me I like what I funking like, young, old or something I'm unfamiliar with.

I'm 33 and some people my age think that everything modern is rubbish and constantly live like they are in 2001!

I just don't get how people can be so shallow?

I love the 'good ole days' but I also love where I'm living right here and right now equally
