Reus signed a new contract a few months ago, and if he did end up leaving Dortmund which is very unlikely then why the feck would he choose Liverpool over the elite European clubs?
Europa League at his hometown club, or CL at one of Europe's elite, or Europa League at Liverpool? Tough choice.
Is your point that none of them were playing at the top of thei game and thus not coveted by those sides whereas Reus is playing at the top of his game and is coveted by those sides?
If that's your point then I get it, if it's not then you are talking shiiiit again.
Is Reus coveted by the elite clubs?
Dortmund don't have a great record of hanging onto their top players when they're wanted, I'm sure if top clubs wanted him then they could get him. Frankly, as good as he is I'm not sure he'd get into the Barca or Real front 3.
If a top club came in Liverpool would stand much chance, if not then an offer of top money might tempt him.
Reus has distanced himself from Barca recently, claiming competition for places being the reason
Reus doesn't want to leave.
Mark....didnt know that but playing time, money and playing in the prem coukd easily see hi sign for Liverpool.
As much as rivals mock us, we are still one of only two clubs in the prem with global fan base, European pedigree and numerous titles. Everyone knows who liverpool are hate us or not. Reus may just look at it and think yeah, I can play with coutinho and firmino (knows him from the bundesleague) in the prem at Anfield.
Yeah I bet he can't wait to sign.

If he's happy to turn down money to stay with his hometown team then good on him, never going to criticise that.
If you don't ask the question however, you never know the answer.
this guy is actually a great WUM
Sterling..exactly, if u dont ask u will never know. Btw, do me a favour; CHANGE YOUR FKN NAME
😂 😂 😂 If Reus was available then why would City spend £49M on Sterling. OP really lives on a different planet.

Change it to 'Magisterial Mesut' or 'Omniscient Ozil'.
Much better . I hope for your names sake he settles quick . Sure he will, hatrick vs stoke be cool. (anyone remember ravanellis hatrick vs us...the fkr)
If he has to change his name to fit in with current affairs at the club shouldn't you have to change yours to Got_Worse?

Your not actually receiving 49 Mill GB.
The fee is 44m plus add ons. So minus the 20% you actualyy get around 39 Mill with possible addons later. A great deal, but you don't have the 49 in your account immediately.
There is always a chance that United's players may not gel for whatever reason, in which case they are the easiest targets to displace (and for Liverpool the most satisfying)
There is also a chance that Arsenal as ever continue to perennially disappoint. Sanchez bailed them out so many times last year - teams got fairly savvy with him after January though, and although the results kept coming Arsenal never really looked all that convincing in my opinion.
City and Chelsea I feel will have too much about them.
HOWEVER personally I don't see anyone else breaking into the top four. United over a weekend have addressed 7 years of underinvestment in midfield and have brought in speed in all three positions (sorely lacking last season), flair and a take on the world attitude in Depay, Leaders, Serial Winners and personally in Schneiderlin one of the best in his role. He has dominated against all the top British clubs in a Southampton midfield and I feel is the key signing that in my view should liberate united. Also I do not think the spree is over. With the necessity transfers out the way to restore balance (lets not forget United last season were largely full of square pegs in round holes for much of the season). They will chase a marquee name or two up to deadline day I'm sure and with that and regular games including Europe I envisage (and hope) this season is a different story.
Spurs and Pool will have their work cut out. I feel players will need to be brining their A game almost every game to be able to put pressure on the top 4 spot. Even then it may not be quite good enough. In terms of Spurs, Pochettino is a good manager, but he needs his chairman to continue to strengthen the squad and bring in the right players. They still need investment in a quality forward. Very lucky to have had Kane last season coz the other 2 just weren't up to scratch!
And as for Liverpool, its a decent transfer window so far- nothing more. End of season they were looking at Gerrard leaving, Skrtel throwing some contract tantrum, Sterling's saga and Sturrdige selfies which were difficult to interpret whether he was making progress in terms of recovery of not. From that position a haul of Ings, Bogdan, Milner, Clyne and Firminio sound pretty good. But as a rival fan looking in, you'd probably accept that. Not saying their transfer business is done but perhaps even with a battering ram like Benteke I'd still fancy the current top 4 to remain as it was.

Top four..how difficult?
Very imo.
We should be 5th/6th as that's where our wage budget puts us.
