Nigel Pearson has never had anything but success as a manager Nev.

You can't really pick any facts to argue with that, even if you don't like the man.

I read a lot of posts on here and can take on all the differing opinions from all sides but to say Pearson hasn't been anything but a success at Leicester is just ignorant to where we were as a club 7 years ago.

Interesting criticism of Ranieri press conference overnight from the African Wildlife Foundation.

"Extremely disappointed that the opportunity to highlight one of our endangered species was disregarded by the new Leicester City Manager. Previously excellent cooperation was available.

Will you show the ostrich your support?

With your help, AWF can continue working on critical initiatives like new conservation tourism lodges that will provide the ostrich with increased space to graze and roam freely. Donate for a cause that will help with wildlife conservation and ensure the ostrich does not become an endangered species.

Dung you have been messing with JG's head again or hacked his account?
Mersey please
As Boycott would of said my mother could of got that squad promoted from division one with a stick of rubarb
Then dropping from second place in the championship in a 17 match run to scrapping into the playoffs.
last seasons 22 match run. was not unmitigated success promotion from the Championship was the best city season for me since 1982 and the last seven games the most enjoyable experience this century.

No i don't like the bully and the press conference yesterday looked and sounded a lot happier place let see if there is a mass walk out of players wanting to join NP or refusing to be interviewed by my mate.

Calm and confident should be our objective next season with performances to match it.

Straws. Clutching.

Nev, you can't argue that Pearson has had nothing but success (on the field) in his managerial career.

That's like suggesting Ferguson is a failure due to te beginning of his tenure at Utd.

You can't.

Pearson has only ever succeeded as a manager, whether it be promotion or survival. He's never failed. Ever.

Agreed Mersey and I actually didn't rate him last season. Whatever you say about his losing streaks mid season, ultimately the facts support the argument that he's a successful manager on the pitch.

Would he have taken us to the top 10 this season? No I don't think so given what the likes of Stoke, West Ham etc are doing in the market (or reporting to be doing). Would he have kept us up next season - yep I think so.

I agree with you on the relaxed press conference Nev, it was good to see.

I think Claudio did well and lack of wholesale changes and just 2-3 signings should hopefully see us ok.

Sensitive to AWF criticism in todays press Ranieri held emergency press conference with Christian Fuchs in attendance.

“I want to make it very clear I have great respect for the Osterreich footballers as Christian here can tell you. In my long career I have always admired them- the AWF are greatly misinformed”

At this point Rudkin interrupted proceedings pulled Ranieri off stage and together with translator had hurried conference.

Last seen Ranieri was entering the Ostrich compound at Twycross wearing only his jock strap where unfortunately he bumped into Merseyside fox who having shaken the sand from his ears –headbutted him.
I only was trying to show ostriches my support cried Claudio

His assailant has since been charged with an attempt to mislead the public and to pervert the course of justice.

He pleads insanity

Foxello. Re original post, the last paragraph sums up my present feelings perfectly. Hopefully CR will be able to make the words into deeds.
