Most dads would want their daughter to marry someone well off than someone who may struggle.

Guess it's a bad day for people called Hulk...
Whatever his intentions, Hogans messed up there.
Always a shame, when someone you've admired lets themselves down in such a manner.
But he's apologised, and that's a good start on the long road back...

I know of three women who have married Muslim men,and all three had to reform to their husbands way of thinking. One had two girls to another bloke, and both of them are now walking round wearing Hijab's,and there's fück all their dad can do about it. I've got nothing against peaceful Muslims, I just hate religions that dictates how people live.
Hmmm. All religions dictate how people live. And aside from the obvious 'they made their own choices' observation about these friends of yours, its worth noting that not all women that marry a muslim man have to 'convert' or whatever it is that you've seen.
And just to be clear, I'm not looking to stir anything here, just that as a relatively new father myself I would find it hard to say 'no' to my son if he was wanting to pursue something that made him happy despite my own discomfort.

Not all religions,my daughter used to go to Sunday school, she doesn't act any different now she's stopped. You think these girls made the choice to be Muslim? Are you Muslim?

------------------------------
Religions do dictate how you should live. Its up to the person to decide whether they are going to follow those rules.
I have no idea how your friends became muslim. But I reckon it would be safe to assume they decided for themselves that these were the men they wanted to marry?
Either way, the point still stands that a non muslim doesn't necessarily have to convert when marrying a muslim.
And no I am not muslim. I don't follow any religion.

common story?
It's definitely the most forceful and extreme religion out there and a lot of pressure would likely be put on non people to convert as they do try and ram the $hit down your throat, ironically the women are probably worse at it for forcefulness in families ( knew a girl from school in a similar situation who married a muslim guy and found herself under extreme and intense pressure and basically had to do it just to be accepted ), and it's not that i disagree with you because i don't but still you can't be saying stuff like that on here Alas just be careful. Religion is a very touchy subject these days. Shame really because it's all bollux anyway
Hulk Hogan should not be slammed so much. The truth is most white people go through similar things but don't want to admit. Racism is part of White Supremacy which has caused white people to have superiority complex over the people of color. Just as people of color suffer with inferiority complex to whites.
White Supremacy has brainwashed everyone. Racism will not end until whites admit that they are the problem for it. The truth is here: If you are offended then you are part of the problem and you need to start unlearning your thinking.

The part I find interesting is that Alas was not happy with the muslim men wanting their wives to live a certain way yet as a result, he would want his daughter to live a certain way ie. not marrying a muslim.
Theres an odd duality there

So people who disagree with you are racist? This is such a brilliant debating style i might just use it myself.
From now on anyone who disagrees with me about football on here must logically be into bestiality.

I find it funny we are told to recognize and respect all races throughout our lives but when racism happens we are told it shouldnt be about race. While I have no problems with any races I think as long as we continually point out a persons race (that black guy, that mexican, look at that chinese lady) then you can never expect racism to end. Shouldnt be around for much longer anyway with mixed race couples all around the world. eventually we will all look gray

Lets say you separated from your partner, and your partner married a Muslim, would you be happy that your young son was being brought up a Muslim?

Wouldn't have an issue.
You would if you had raised your son in another religion. I doubt youd roll over and allow someone to just come in and say "now you will follow these rules instead".
He's not being raised in another religion though. He's free to make his own choice on that when he's older.
