I'm hoping Smalling is injured because he should be the first choice CB. I'm guessing the fact Blind is left footed is a major reason why he is playing.

He really needs to stop this need to play a left and right footed player centrally. I know Darren pointed out to Demichelis and Van Beuyten at Bayern both being right footed but he clearly likes the idea of having this mix.

Anyway blind at CB simply can't happen throughout the season.
He'll get injured in the warm up
But Ramos and Otamendi are both right footed.

Yes. Twice.
Once for us and once for Holland and he looked dodgy both times
Think Blind was CB in both our previous games. Didn't see them though. Any good?
He played a few minutes for us there last season because of LVG's insistence on having a left footed CB, can't remember how he did though.

Having said that, I was in zzz land five minutes before kick off so don't be booking holidays on that judgement
