HRH it depends really, we either sit back and sucker punch teams on the counter or we play a high pressing style, obviously depending on opposition and whether it's home or away.
In the sucker punch style Saido has to literally do everything and 99% of the time on his own. The other style is when he is at his best, making runs in behind, constantly harassing the opposition defenders and looking to get up near that box as quickly as he can.
He's honestly one of the best I've seen at bending a ball round a keeper into the far corner.
Personally I think he will stay, he's the main man right now, everything is designed around him which will be monumental in his development but also because he has such a strong bond with Pulis who has man managed him perfectly by protecting him, criticising him and putting an arm round him whenever it's needed.
I'd rather we keep him but Townsend and Lennon would be brilliant for us, we lack pace and width badly.

Just get him signed. Not that I don't want him anyway but our attack needs freshening up badly. The sooner the better.
Either way I would be absolutely astounded if he left. And no doubt it will benefit his career In the long run to stay put for a couple of seasons
Of course you would, he is your best player!
We should offer them £10m and Lennon, a fair deal all round

Sometimes you need to take your chance at a step up! Who knows if he'll get another chance to make a move like this.

Definitely need to try selling or using Lennon as bait this window while his stock has risen, thanks to Everton.

Everyone talks about offering X amount of cash plus this or that player, but in reality how often do you see player plus cash deals? If we want Berahinio we'll have to stump up at least £18m big ones. Lennon will probably be loaned out somewhere again.

vorm and siggy is a pretty recent example
and ben davies too wasn't it?

If Luke Shaw is worth £30m, Lallana worth £25m and Sterling worth £50m.
It will definitely be in excess of £25m to even be considered
Is he worth that? Absolutely not. But in today's climate, that would be his selling price
If Spurs don't stump up the cash he won't go, we have no reason to sell and it's not like he would be going to challenge for titles (no disrespect)
From what I understand he is on 7.5k per week.
West Brom are ready to offer 15k.
Spurs will probably offer at least double that.
That's the motivator for a move (sorry romantics)
7.5k a week?
west from are taking the pisss.. how can you leave your top marksman on that kind of money?
spurs will probably offer him 45k a week and he will want to move

Everything I can see says he's on £15k a week currently.
Even still...
You can't rate someone at 25m and not expect them to earn that unless they play for 30 plus years
Can you?

But Berahino as it stands is not good enough to go and play for a title winning side so I don't really get your point mate. Spurs are a much bigger step up from Westbrom and he would be doing his reputation a big boost if he were to sign for Spurs due to european football and us always being in the pack fighting for a top 4 finish. If Spurs stumped up the cash then Berahino would no doubt come to us. The only way Berahino is staying is if Spurs don't put in an offer that Westbrom accept. Sorry mate but that's the reality and we have to put up with it when the big boys like Madrid come in for our players to
Berahino is on 15k a week. Which he signed towards the start of last season, and was on less than 1k before that
There are suggestions that a new contract is likely to be on offer around the 50k mark
Question is though, even if spurs do offer the minimum £25m required. Would he start week in week out? As that's what he absolutely requires
Albion, he would probably be partnered with Harry Kane I think. They potentially could be a superb partnership. He will have to fight for his place aswell due to competition which will develop him even better. I just think Spurs would be to good a opportunity to turn down. But like I said we have to stump up the cash and I don't really believe our chairman will do that so you might be safe this season
I'm a firm believer that you should only ask what you are willing to play a player.
If you think he is worth 2.5m a year over 4yrs, should you ask any more than 10m for him?
I say that regarding us too - Bale on 6m a year, cost 85m to Madrid. Not right is it?
