Yeah Soldado has been pretty gash. I think it looks worse on paper, when you watch him play you can see he has ability and intellect, but it just wouldn't click for him. Not the worst I've seen in a spurs shirt tho, but certainly the most disastrous in relation to his price tag, or at least on a par with Rebrov.

Exactly.
Of course it looks bad on paper....we signed a poacher who doesn't score. If we signed a keeper who could only save the most straightforward shots I'd say he was an awful player, even if his kicking was superb and
Ginger Pele was an awful player, but at least he occasionally played his part in a good defensive performance, or even popped up with a goal.
He had heart. Something Soldado clearly lacks, and a big part of what makes a player a success.
He has been awful. If your name is Gregor Raziak nobody makes excuses for you. It's no different for him

Only Spurs would sign a clinical goalscorer from one of the best leagues in the world to then become gash

You'll never know, Rap....There is no guarantee and every transfer is a risk.
What I have learned in the last few seasons is that the risk a player from Seria A turns out to be gash is higher see Lamela, Jovetic, Balotelli....than from La Liga.
