not a bad signing on a loan deal. He always goes through a good run of form when he arrives at a new team. Even at Real madrid. He'll do well for the first half of the season. Once he settles in and becomes comfortable he'll become his usual lazy disinterested self

Many will have you believe Ade is a poor striker. When he was played, he always scored goals. And just like many players, he needed the right manager to get the best out of him. Harry did it, and Sherwood did it.

(This paragarph is a copy and paste from another article) Ade needs to go because he clearly does not feature in Poch’s plans, and I think the relationship between him and the majority of fans is at an all time low and beyond repair. He’ll still be a decent signing for another Prem side though.

Good news for both sets of fans but i think it cost us points not playing him when we had the chance.

I genuinely wish him luck.

It won't be so much as a 'season-long loan' more like a 'long season loan'...

I liked Ade, but feck me he has hardly played for the last six months, and he is of absolutely no use to Spurs now with his continual excuses not to get on the pitch. good riddance.

After the season loan he's off the books, unless Villa send him back when he reverts to type, after about three weeks,or the start of the Voodoo season whichever comes first.

There is still time for ade to feign injury so until I see him play for villa I won't hold my breath as loans can easily be terminated.

Fair play to villa for picking up the wages though. Lloris will now be our top earner on about 40 grand less than ade!

Got no time for ade take away his attitude, his arrogance and the ability to upset everyone from ball girls to directors. His performances are disgusting I have never seen a more lazy performance than West Ham away with that bale goal.

I am so critical of him on the football pitch because he should of been world class has everything but he never can be bothered to apply himself. It is all laziness it shows in the yards covered, touches of the ball and all round play.

The pre season form of kozak looks like villa don't even need ade to be fair.

LLM,

I have seen far more lazy players than Ade, some (like Berbatov) actually get praised for their laid back style.

As for his “laziness it shows in the yards covered” I recall in one of the few games he was picked for (in the 1-0 win at home to Southampton) he either covered the most ground or was just behind.

I witness Soldado doing far less yet gets praised for having a good attitude. None of this makes sense.

I also don’t understand how he could have been chosen as captain in an important cup semi final if he was such a bad apple and upset (from what you say) everyone including the directors.

As Thudd says, our fans turned on him way too easy – and we all know why. I was at a EL game versus Panathinaikos and he scored, but the person in the row in front of me refused to celebrate because Ade is an ex-Gooner. And if this is the attitude he had to suffer against him, is it any wonder he didn’t wake up some mornings and think “why do I bother?”.

Yes, he’s paid by the club so should do his best at all times - but respect is a 2-way thing and after he revived our 2013-2014 season with something like 14 in 24 or 11 in 20 (depending on what report you read) after being alienated by that clown AVB, I think he deserved a bit more respect from us.

I know I’m going to get a massive backlash from this post but I don’t really care.
