Why is the poor lad being compared to Coutinho? Injuries have ruined his development but that does not mean he can't step up. The EL will give him a great opportunity to impress in a red shirt as well as being involved in the squad for PL games.
Because he is about the same age and plays pretty much the same position?
He is under pressure yes but every obstacle he has had in front of him through his career he has kicked on.
For me he is not a natural athlete like, for example, Ibe and needs to be very fit indeed.
But he plays between the lines well and can bring other into play. He also has as good a turn as you will see and can finish.
Good baller.

He reminds me of Nasri.
I'd prefer it to be Cazorla though!
Lallana reminds me of Benayoun.
Good player, capable, will do some great things and contribute, but also frustrate and overplay.
Great player to have in the squad though.
Should help with unlocking some sides that come to park the bus.
Yeah thats where I see Lallana's role really.
Good squad player against bottom half sides.
I don't think he will contribute much against the best opposition.
Perhaps I'm over rating him then and his best performances did come against sides lower in the league.
