Wow you are an optimist! Quality LB,RB and central midfield player and I might agree.

Well what makes you think he wont find them

OK, it might take until next Feb for the jigsaw to be completed, but KM has long since convince me he is going places.
Hopefully Old Trafford, Emirates and Anfield next season

Keef has my backing which is just as well anyway as we all know how loyal Steve Lansdown is. Keith has definitely earned the right to try and take us forward in my opinion so here's hoping that we can get off to a good start to allow him some breathing space. We need the quality in the obvious areas as speedwell red has said above, and again, I don't think SL will allow us to just stand still, lets just hope we don't make the same mistake as Nicky Hunt.

Don`t get me wrong I desperately want Keef to succeed, about time nice guys in football got on, but you are right a good start is imperative.

Agree Fordy KM has earned the chance to manage the club like you I wasn't impressed by his appointment thought wrongman for the time/situation we were in was hoping for a Terry Venables type to come in to help him but he proved me wrong from the shambles he inherited he is working hard at building a decent side again and he does seem to have inentified our problem areas and is trying to fix them, unlucky we have lost out on a few targets but we have to expect that if we want players who can move us forward other clubs will probably be looking at the same players and if they are in the Prem means it's going to be had to compete with them.

Fact is if he has the backing of the club as a whole (complete with the fan base) most managers would do well under SL.
Yes, KM is a nice bloke, and I feel he is nobody's fool either. He is pointing this club in the right direction, both with his signings and his organisation behind the scenes.
But his REAL strength will lie in the unity of the club and its fans behind him and his team. this is the basis of why the big clubs like Liverpool continue to do well - their players must feel 10 feet tall when they run out at Anfield, because the fans are so patriotic.
The club united will always prosper, and the one divided must always fail.
Its the basic stuff of life

so here's hoping that we can get off to a good start ....natch these words are what it could all be about....

Last YEAR the fixture list was a little unkind, in so much as we caught more teams having a "mini purple patch" than we had teams going through a black one.A reasonable start, maybe 17/18 points from the first 12 games would be "fair"...........

I doubt we'll get off to a worse one than last year john
