Wonder how it will end for BT/ Sky. Only one can come out on top eventually.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, BT have made a huge statement by securing all of the CL and EL matches.

However, I suspect most Sky customers will pay the £20 to access BT Sport on their Sky box, so both end up winners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know anybody with both, all my mates, even my dad, uses my best mates login details.

Literally about 15 of us use it at the same time every week.

I think it's great... for like £40/month I get phone (inc. line rental), broadband, tv (with record etc..), and shíteloads of footy.

--------------------

You got the same with sky didn't you??? Sky are such a huge organisation that they'll come back from this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sky with Sport package is like 70 or 80 quid, no?

Sky Go is also fantastic. Have TV in our bedrooms via laptops and Playstation.

It needs a little work, but it works, unlike BT's sports player.

I bought the PS4 because it has Sky Go, unlike the Xbox one

See this is where you miss a trick - I use a Sky Go login, so I get the decent, stable streaming and BT Sport on the TV

Although it's still expensive. Think how many households in the UK have Sky. They must be raking it in.

Yeah my mate only has free BT player because he has BT internet. Think he pays £5 extra now for the CL.

It's about £70pm if you want everything on sky plus the HD channels, I've been with them for years and when BT came out saying they had all the euro footy I called them a couple of months ago threatening to cancel as I thought it wasn't worth the price (even though I have BT internet so get BT sport free anyway ) Anyway the lady panicked and knocked my monthly bill down to £55 so that's a result.

Yeah, plus advertising etc...

Does your £55/month include line rental?

Yep, even though I don't even have a phone plugged in.

I pay about £50 for Sky.

I get all the channels, except for movies and sports. I have HD and multiroom.

Multiroom gives me the premium Sky Go.

Yeah but the line is the line to the house, which "delivers" your broadband...

They are offering Multiroom free for 12 months atm.

Get on the blower to them, you're being ripped off, at least if you tell them that they'll reduce your price.

It wasn't long ago I signed up with them, I think I am still in the first 6 months offer.

"Delivery" of broadband costing more than the broadband itself. Sounds about right.

Always worth going on to check. I got Sky movies for £2 a month for 6 months via the online account.

I then called up to cancel so they extended the offer for another 6 months.
