Aye didn't want to spend our full £20 in one go.

Like a wean on 1st day of a holiday to Millport. Gutted for the next 4 days

This will be where he is now a great player, etc?

I think Rangers have dodged a massive, overrated bullet here

You really do have to question the ambition of Celtic if they think this boy can help to get them far in Europe?

I guess Joan's statement looks even more ridiculous after this signing

Mcgeough was never going to get another chance at Celtic so we basically swapped him for another mibbeaye mibbenaw up and comer. Hardly breaking the bank for him.

If he does sign for Celtic you can understand why.

Big club, decent money etc even though he will have to work his socks off to be a first team regular.

Even if his goal was to get a move to Rangers, it wasnt going to happen in this transfer window due to Hibs stance.

So he would have to sit and wait until January and hope that Rangers would still be interested, which is no guarentee.

Imagine if this young lad we've got on loan from Spurs comes in and looks amazing, and we get a chance to keep him longer term. Where would that leave Scott Allan?

Its hard to swallow since it looks like he's signing for Celtic but it reality, Rangers had no chance of making a deal with Hibs so Allan's future would be up in the air.

One positive we can take is that Hibs 'hes not for sale' statements will come back to bite them and they are losing their best player.

I don't get this as a signing.

Unless Ronny sees some potential in him as a long term replacement for Brown buy the little I've seen of him he's not got it

Scott Allan will say No to Celtic just like others before him. Check Andy Hallidays Twitter.

I don't think this new minty wants to spend the kids money after all. If he was willing to pay rangers would have got him regardless what Hibs have said.

SPFL players just haven't the intelligence to work out how to beat Celtic...so we'll buy wan from a league lower!

Every bit as bad as Naismith and co..

Although our board have a degree of liability with their bidding.

Hopefully never consider a deal with a Scottish club again.

YAAAS

Celtic have just won the ` We signed a player that yous wanted but we got him instead Trophy'

It goes with `The Balance Sheet Trophy'
and `We actually spend money Trophy'

However....

Rangers won the `Ra Sellick drapped 2 points Trophy' last night.
