man u away is usually a write off.
stoke at home is hardly a fixture we have much luck in.
its a poor start but keep perspective... the same two games last season got us 0 points...
problem is that now we are under pressure to beat lesta, after having totally faaacked up Saturday.

We cant have this attitude though Chronic, We should of beat stoke Saturday no other team would put themselves in the Situation Tottenham have only having one striker at the start of the season is such a pissss poor decision by our board.
It's the same against united we should have been 1UP in the first 20 mins, yet we lack that killer instinct and we cant defend. City turned Chelsea over 3-0 yesterday I'm actually scared how many they are going to put past us this season.
No need to panic really, wait until 10 games and see where we are, two wins puts us top half and we're more than capable
The way Leicester and Everton are playing I can see us getting beat by both teams.
There's players at both clubs we could sign and would walk into our team.

We should have at least taken a point off the UTD match and 3 points from Stoke.
We generally are a team that pushes for the 4th spot. What concerns me is that most seasons we "give away" a few points because of our policy of buying late. Those lost points could have made a difference to where we finish.

Well said Eriksen......Says a lot about us Spurs fans that in the last few years boring/ineffective tactics, bad signings and average results. Unless some decent signings are made I worry for the season, not particularly the results but the prospect of watching this brand of football & finishing 6/7th doesn't exect me that much. Fingers crossed for another striker, another wide player (Don't want to see Lamela in a Spurs shirt again) & a PROPER defensive midfielder to allow Eriksen (if he stays) to justify the hype as a number 10.
Lets be honest, if it wasn't for Kane's goals last season we would have finished a lot lower than 5th. I think it was a huge false position and that has impacted the way we operate in the market (that, & the new stadium costs). I don't think we are anything as good as we think we are. If the likes of Ali, N'Je, Wimmer, Tripier and hopefully Berahino are worth splashing cash on then lets play them !!!!!! We should have been out of sight vs Stoke & United were there for their for the taking

The Levy firewall is up early this morning
-----------------------------
Come on.. Surely it cant be that difficult the seasons finishes in MAY.. you identify your targets and get them all signed by the beginning of AUGUST. Man u can do it, Liverpool can do it. Every other BPL team can do it apart from F@CKING TOTTENHAM!!! its so frustrating.
I am sure we will get Berahino in. I would be happy if that was the only signing this window because we need to support our youth policy. Dier has done well as DM and Mason is good enough to start. Lamela needs to go.
The downside is we may well finish 7th -9th but once the youngsters gain a bit more experience we will perform better in the future.
Add Yedlin to that list too. The kid kills it every time he plays for the US and yet we all complain about the lack of width & pace in the team. I'll be the first to say he "doesn't cut it" at Prem League level but can we at least see him play ? We aint finishing top 4, so what do we have to lose ?

Was wondering about your last comment in make out the target and get them. I am an Arsenal fan I dont think we do business like this.
On the other hand that's not the way it works in Football. There are clubs who not care about money.....if they dont sell you can dish out all the money in the world you wont get the player. Football is not like being in the supermarket and buy.
Any player has a price though and if you really want the target you identify then pay the money to get them in. Being an Arsenal fan and looking at your team all you really lacked was a GK and you have now got that in Cech.

Having a new stadium 60,000 seats etc Levy is going to be expecting Champions league football. Yet he doesn't invest in the team in the right areas to help us compete.
He's just a tool.

hes right...no one is saying superstar signings....but only having 1 striker going into a season is pathetic.

But its also about doing the RIGHT business isn't it. Poch has admitted he told Lennon and Ade they were not in his plans. We then sold Soldado and left us with no other option upfront. if we would had swapped Kane for Soldado on Saturday we would of won that game. Not because Soldado would have scored but purely because he can hold the ball up high up the pitch leaving the team to get back in shape.. We lacked shape as soon as Kane came off.
We had 6 midfielders on the pitch FFS
Takes time to sign someone, it;s not football manager
Soldado sold - New striker in within days,

Your not getting my point. I've clearly stated that our targets should have been signed before the first game of the season. meaning if soldado was sold we would have options.
