I'm not reading too much into any transfer speculation though. This summer's rumour mill has been ridiculous even by the usual standards.

Berahino has a lot of potential, reminds me of a Saha type player too.

Just feel Berahino deal may have substance.. He was at Old Trafford near the end of last season watching a United game. Wasn't included in the squad this weekend. Pulis also said about 10 teams were interested. Would like it to happen tbh

I think he would be, he is a top player now and imo will get better.

I think the sky is the limit for Berahino. Excellent pace, good finisher, intelligent off the ball and good footballer to boot, not just a finisher.

He should be our main target really because likes of Muller, Lewandowski etc just aren't realistic.

He's more Defoe than Saha.

Would take him, though. Our striking options really aren't good enough. Probably the weakest in the top six.

DTKF, ah yes, Defoe would be a better comparison, but a better version of Defoe. More skillful and feel he'll add a lot more to our attacking options. He's a hard working kid too, he'll thrive at united imo

Agreed, I really rate Berahino. Hope it happens. Would keep Rooney on his toes too

He looks decent, more of a second/ third choice striker though.

I'd imagine he'll go on to have a career like a Defoe.

Get him before spurs do because levy will double his price haha.

Has been my choice all summer, quality player that could suit a couple of different roles and probably wont mind biding his time to get starts
