Last season we conceded 10 at the Emirates and the Britannia.

If Chambers wasn't disabled it would have been a different game
Agreed. Everyone's going on about Gomez(and rightly so) but I thought Skrtel was our motm tonight. He was fantastic.

What, you'd have scored if your centre back was better?
Decent point. A bit disappointed with the finishing though. Should have had a couple at least in the first half.
Great defending though.
Credit to brodge, we dominated space. Mig didn't have much to do
A lot of ans were saying Ibe was better than Sterling but he has a long way to go. We really should of won but a point is a decent result. Stil dont trust Skrtel and Lovern in defence , and 2nd half we were getting too deep a bit letting Arsenal into it. Milner put in a great shift offensively and defensively. Can was a bit sloppy at the start but grew into the game.

Well we did score but we wouldn't have looked so bad at the back and wouldn't have lost the ball so much
I like our new found solidity. Tactics were spot on, we didn't need to force anything tonight.
Arsenal needed to win that game more than we did.
Yeah we could have won it, but there's no point forcing the play to do so and leave ourselves open.
7 points from 3 games, and Arsenal away is done and dusted.
Bring on the happy hammers.
Agreed, it was a decent point to take forward.
There was a couple of hair pulling moments but we scraped through it.
Ibe was ineffectual today, he took far too many touches on the ball giving the gooners chance to tackle him.
On reflection, a good point. We are nowhere near Arsenal on pass and move. The speed of their passing is very impressive.
Their keeper being MOTM speak volumes though. At times I thought we played too defensively and brought them on. I was disappointed with Ibe, he seemed disinterested, he hardly won a challenge. Clyne, yet again, and Gomez too are bolt-on certainties. Moreno played well when he came on, he should have passed instead of going for glory.
The amount of times we headed possession back to Arsenal was making my head spin.
Couple of great save by Mig. Clean sheet again.

Thought Clyne was excellent tonight, was it like 12 million you paid for him? Absolute steal anyway

To be fair he did he had to pick the ball out of the net after a good goal was scored. Saves from Giroud Ramsey spring to mind. A point was a fair result.
Whole defence was excellent all game again. Skrtel was brilliant and we saw the Lovren we bought from Saints. Clyne is a great buy and kept Sanchez quiet and Gomez looks a real talent.
Impressed by the whole back line today, particularly Skrtel and Gomez. Coutinho was a constant threat too and Firminho looked good, less so Benteke who I thought would be a bit more effective against Arsenal's makeshift centre-backs. Good point though.
We do need sturridge back badly. He's still our most important player by a mile
Dare i say it but lovren is starting to look like a 20 mil.defender
You're goofy
He does look much better though.
Lucas was terrific as well tonight, won the ball so many times. Sad to see him go if he doesn't.
Milner was immense today considering he had two guys who ran out of legs after 60 mins in Can and Lucas followed by an 18 year old kid. Never stopped running.
Skrtel was good tonight, saved us a couple of times.
But there were times where he was a yard behind the rest of the defence and played them onside, case in point the Ramsey 'offside' goal. Hopefully it will come as the team gels.
I am very happy with a point
We were excellent first half then faded
I thought the defence were really switched on as Arsenal are so effective in the last third
Ibe was extremely disappointing and we lost the impetus when he came on
Unless we are signing someone Lucks should be going nowhere. What would we have done today without him? I thought everyone was very good today and if Lucks goes we need another DM or deep lying midfielder or at least another box to box.
Allen being injured is somehow a blessing because Rodgers would have played him I think.
