I agree Gomez was good TOOR and I like him.
We have to give the Skrtel-Sakho pair another chance though as it's our best two centre halves.
Clyne is our best right back, and while I'm not Moreno's biggest fan you have to have balance on the other side.
Gomez to play in Europa and cup games, he is still just a kid after all.
It's chaos fellas, all over the place, new signings trying to fit in, youngsters filling in the gaps,players from last season still trying to prove themselves, new coaching staff, twitchy manager who's lost his nerve.

Gomez is a year maybe two away, if he continues to develop.
For that reason i could see some mileage in sakho-gomez partnership in all the cups (including europe) this year, with the idea that they are our long term solution
However i can also see gomez on the right if we go three at the back,and that might be great for us, so long as we still go two up top.

I like Moreno as a sub on the wing. Busts a gut going forward, helps out a lot in defence. It's a good role for him and Gomez can still start for me.
