While Pelle isn't a top manager he plays good football and doesn't make a cerhunt of himself in interviews like Brenda.
Fair enough
his eyes look like two beetroots with pupils all the time though. Can't he invest in some drops? Looks like he just got back from Medellin all the time.
Wenger kept Arsenal in the top 4 and above Liverpool who out spent him for ages and thereby blowing the money spent=league position theory our of the water.
I'd swap him for Pellegrini and Mourinho.
I'd probably even swap him for Alan Pardew.
I think it's more worthwhile looking at the clubs rather than the managers. Have either really done justice to them? Wenger is streets ahead in terms of success but most of that is in the past, and he's utterly set in his ways. It's unlikely he will ever win the Premier League again or get close to the CL.
Rodgers has been utterly haphazard but has plenty of improvement left in him. Of course he could also completely fail to realise his potential. Probably most likely at this point in time.
So to me neither of them are great propositions at the moment. But I would favour Rodgers now.
They may well both be out of jobs in a couple of years time though.
very very easy answer here.
YES
wneger is a genuine manager not a spoofer.
And yeah ok he's lost his way somewhat but 2 fa cups in tow years? rodgers could only freaking dream....
I wonder what Wenger could have managed on Rodgers budget when he first arrived at Arsenal.
He took a good side and added some real gems. Going unbeaten, winning doubles and playing some amazing stuff. But you have to ask would Rodgers have not been able to do the same?
I still think Rodgers is a fraud, is it fair to compare my he two?
Could Wenger have won promotion via a system that means you can go up by finishing 6th
If Wenger came Barca would still have bought Suarez, Man City Sterling, Studge would still be injured, Gerrard still retired to America, and Sanchez picked London.
Then he would have bought Chamakh and Gervinho and tried to turn them into worldbeaters.

Would you swap Rodgers for Wenger?
