Of those signings that have left, how many of there were loanees in the first place?
Moses, Sahin, Manquillo etc.
Can...god I forgot about sahin. To answer the question I dont know, but I think we all know the turnover of players has been incredible.
To me it shouldnt be as high as it is. That points to a floored transfer strategy, or the manager having no idea of what type of player he wants.
Christ someone bring back happily delude GB pleas.
Where to start with this train wreck?
You're seeing Rafa through rose tinted specs. He bought many a dud too.
Loaning players such as Ojo, williams erc is not a bad thing.
"Why buy if you dont use". Because it's not an exact science
Come in fella, get back on the meds
I read an article recently stating that only 50% of the signings made in the promeiership in the last 5 years are first team players in their teams.
All clubs managers make mistakes unfortunately the bigger clubs make the most including Liverpool, Utd, City and Chelsea.
The bigger clubs make the most as it is easier to improve the other sides as there are many players available who will do so but not so many available who will improve the best sides and even worse for Liverpool and Spurs for example as the players who will improve them, if they want to play in the PL there's four clubs above them who players prefer.

Only three of whom will actually sign anyone
Rafa didnt have as much to spend, though he did buy duds, but he had to buy cheaper players, if he had the back rodgers had, we may have well signed aguero and silva when he wanted them
Everyone is always talking about teams like Saint buying great players and having great transfers but we beat them and always finish above them.
And on Rafa he spent plenty. Not net but he spent plenty.
Rodgers averages £25m a season net or something.
remmeber when benitez wanted to sell alonso to buy gareth barry
There's an article somewhere that showed the values of teams in Europe, your team has £10m more spent on it than Bayern Munich's. Made me laugh.

230 mil over 6 years.
11mil net per season.
Avv of 4mil per player
Avg of 12 players per year left anfield while he was there (quite a lot compared to GBs claim of 14 in 3 BR years)
Hoody....thats because they keep selling them. Remember the old w ham, they had rio, j cole, lampard, carrick, defoe and a few others, they sold the lot!
Where as Utd has £200m more!
