A bit like any credibility your club ever possesed
The No.8 reference was to serial, not you Admin.
I feel like we've been robbed, FAlF!!
Oh well, but at least the board is back up and running again. Admin 2, how do you delete an entire website in one go? Why couldn't you just delete the Derby board instead?
Delete the Derby match thread just before kick off! naughty
Most of our lot are at the games anyway
SPH stayed up all night for that
Whereas we ain't bothered cos we've got load of 1,000+ articles.

System crash, Rev. Nothing sinister. Whole week lost (for everyone). Admin 1 has been quick to point out that it was entirely Admin 2's fault!
It happened with our board too Rev.
It them computer things, they don't know what they're doing.
I blame TEG.
It will be back Rev. I have resolved to faithfully recreate the entire thread - post by post - until the grand total of 1033 is re-achieved. Shouldn't take more than 7 or 8 hours and about 2.5 bottles of red. If you would do the honours in replicating the 'Article' I can get cracking....
I'm gutted. That thread had everything - raw emotion, philosophical debate and movie quotes.
RIP Thread. Gone, but never forgotten.
never try, its just not worth it!!!

Apparently it was us
A system crash with a weeks worth of data gone? Sounds like someone has made a slight feck up somewhere and the old backup strategy is not the best
I can offer some advice Admins, rate is not cheap but experience is good especially if you're on SQL
What I would do is run a few commands to sort it out, these should help.
DELETE FROM <usertable> WHERE UserID = 'U2584'
DELETE FROM <posttable> WHERE UserID = 'U2584'
Sorted
Don't really do that obviously, even if you increase the average IQ of site members by quite a few points by doing that
