That's 2 Bell has dropped, on a batting friendly wicket

One more drop and Ian Bell will qualify for Pakistani Citizenship

Good day for Pakistan that. I'd take 286-3... Nothing we can do about the standard of Indian umpiring unfortunately, so will have to take that one on the chin

Even India got a wicket today

Good day for Pakistan.

Hopefully 400+ runs by mid-afternoon and then give England a go.

Even without Yasir Shah, Pakistan got a decent bowling attack.

Can't belive Misbah was given out, joke decision from the 3rd umpire.

Graeme Swann just said this on BBC radio broadcast

"Shoaib Malik is back in team, supposedly an old-timer at 32. I've got issues with this, I played against him in the Under-19 World Cup in 1998, which means he would have been 14 or 15. I don't think he's 32 - someone is telling porkie pies."

Almost 34 according to cricinfo...

And for 33 he's had a tough paper round...

Sky keep going on about how unlucky England are that Bell dropped two catches and the Broad no-ball. Pakistan should be 7 down.

They forget to mention that Shan Masood was unlucky to be out, and what about the Misbah decision???

I'm sure Pakistan will drop a few catches along the way

Bowling a no ball isn't unlucky. It's just bad professional play. That it would have taken a wicket is neither here nor there in the end.

I want Rashid to do well but he won't even get in Pak U15 team.

Come on Kash, the guy's 27

There's only one person who'd make that 11 and that's Afridi

BOD,
Agree with you, too much mention of bell's drops and not Misbah's unlucky dismissal. However, i don't think Shan masood was unlucky, more stupid. What on earth was he thinking.... If he can't play short balls on flat tracks, he'll be eaten alive next year in when we tour England, SA and Aussies. Should be dropped imo

Just watched the verdict... Amir sohail thinks Misbah was correctly given out. What an absolute moron. Absolutely clueless. Can't sky find any decent Pak pundits? Sohail is a numpty

@Afridi

What's Big Bob's verdict, any scathing attacks yet?

Also why is Vaughan complaining,

Pakistan have not been beaten in seven Test series in the UAE, and Vaughan believes the slow, spin-friendly conditions give them an excessive advantage.

"Home advantage has swayed too far," he said. "There's a fine margin making sure it's not too much."

We probably did the same in the summer

Vaughan, as well as a few others are talking nonsense.

All Test Playing nations use home conditions & prepare pitches to gain an advantage.

Don't England prepare wickets to give their seamers an advantage?

Fack off vaughan you twaaat

If england can't bowl or bat against spin maybe it's about time they learned. Dumb

Agree with you guys. Works both ways. England prepare surfaces at home which suits them (rightly so), but some like to have a bit of a whinge and moan when the going gets tough away from home.... You can't have it both ways.

South Africa have done well in the UAE, as did NZ last year. That's why I think Saffers are well suited for the top test spot- get on with the game and they can play in all conditions no matter what.

No wonder,

Bob was mainly having a go at the English spinners and belly. .... Applauded both younis and Malik performances today.

It's a bit early for England to throw the dolls out of the pram.
