So have we, watching the cricket!
Agree, let's stick to the cricket... A few sensitive souls on here, give plenty but can't take as much
Steady from Pakistan... Expect this to continue until lunch at least
Rashid is meat and drink for our batsman
I said ages ago that Ali and Rashid could easily go for 4-5 an over with their obligatory 4 ball an over. In the UAE, where the scoring rate tends to be 2-3 an over, that's too many.
Wood and Rashid getting slapped
Nice steady partnership building here. Pakistan already in control.
This is not just UAE, test cricket is really going downhill.
In England, unless its India or Australia, test matches are Emtpy.
I think in the sub continent, they stopped caring for test cricket and the herd went to ODI cricket.
Australia is slightly better, the boxing day test match usually draws big crowds, but gradually declines over the rest of the series..(unless its India or England)
The one fixture which could breath some life into test cricket, in the sub continent, is not being played due to politics...

Rubbish. England fill the grounds regardless of the opposition.

Take Australia and India out, give me some examples where a test series has been sold out?
Even take internationals out, the biggest crowds county clubs have is during T20's
South Africa
New Zealand
We're not on about county cricket here are we, which is a waste of time.
South Africa\New Zealand - I would fathom a guess and say Pakistan, in England, would attract bigger crowds. But still the stadiums are not full.
If you think Test cricket, in England, is not in decline, you mare kidding yourself.
The ODI fixtures for these tours attract bigger crowds and TV audiences

Neo - Pakistan have had a cracking start
can't drop catches on this wicket, you just can't, poor.
Neo,
With Yasir out, can't see pak taking 20 wickets either to be honest. Draw
serial,
Agree England fans pack out their stadiums regardless of opposition. ESP first 3 days.
Another no ball wicket for England. Very bad habit this..
Broad takes a wicket, but it's a no-ball
Beefy dismisses it as a clean delivery until 3rd ump says it's a no ball and then changes his mind.
a no-ball...what are the odds of that happening
Broad has been getting away with a load of no balls that went unpunished. It's time this responsibility left the umpires and have a 3rd umpire watch for no balls via technology. Happens too much throughout cricket.
Kash - be difficult to monitor all no-balls. Ok review the ones which take wickets, but it'll be a nightmare to review each and every one
Hawk eye or eagle eye on the line like tennis would do the trick.
