Not sure why everyone expected us to suddenly be amazing today. Clear improvement from recent matches which is something
Why did Sturidge and bentekke go off?
You would have won though had it not been for Coutinho

Benteke had a hamstring issue and Sturridge because he has been out for such a massive period of time - 90 minutes straight up would have been foolish.
Coutinho was pretty disappointing

we were never going to go from our performances of late to blowing teams away in one match..
that was much better, a formation that bought the best out of our players and solid subs (barring the lallana one, which i think had been arranged before their set peice goal)

It was a pleasure
Glad Sakho is back.
Glad Studge is back.
Ings is a capable back up and Firmino is beginning to settle.
Not happy about the result but if we stick with the lineup today I think we will improve.
So much for the tough away a games we can't even win the home games

this, and i have been very critical of Rodgers this past week
last 15 games is 16 points for us
We played a lot better, but that's no wins in four games, with only one really tricky fixture.
Sackable stuff on the back of last season's collapse.

Good summary. Very disappointed with the result of course, but the performance was a step in the right direction.

Yes I agree, some plus points in Sakho and Sturridge being back and Ings and Firmino settling better, but how many chances does Rodgers need.
He really isn't taking Liverpool anywhere, if anything he is taking them backwards after spending a fortune.
Regardless of the performance it's still a home draw to Norwich.
How is today the managers fault? He couldn't of picked a better starting line up, or set us up any better. It's not his fault that the one player everyone seems to agree is our only potentially top drawer performer missed a gilt edged chance to win the game.
Poor. All those chances and stil couldn't get the result.
He played ok but stil dropped points. Can & Milner were very poor today. Coutinho should really be burying 1 of his 3 chances, Ings done well coming on & Sahko and Moreno were good starting again. Rodgers is really on thin ice now.
