Ings has earned some game time. About time we started rewarding players for good performances
Aspas brilliant goal and the other day Balotelli brilliant freekick goal for Milan. Aspas looks so quick but with us he was slow. Balotelli tried plenty of free kicks but always wide. I'm blaming Rodgers and his inability to get the best out of our players and his terrible tactics

Strong team and I think it's the right decision. After a run of bad results we are desperate for any kind of win to boost confidence. Chances for the likes of Firmino, Milner and Origi off the bench to get off the mark.
I'd be lying if I didn't say that team smacks of desperation though, given the level of opposition we are facing. Obviously it's the usual we shouldn't underestimate the opposition blahde blah but these early rounds should be a chance for at least a couple of kids to have a chance.
Obviously it goes without saying, but I will say it anyway, if the millions in that team can't beat league two Carslisle the manager is a dead man walking. No pressure Brendan.
On a lighter note, come on you redmen
Surely at home against lower league oops even we can score more than 2 goals in this game
we have a massive squad full of quality, not suprised to see a strong line up. I am amazed that BR is struggling to get wins tbh
