Bayern might want the money we could offer.

...............

Why? I have no idea on Bayern's financial state. Please educate me on this.

Lewandowski doesn't even make the top 5 forwards in the world:

Ronaldo
Bale
Messi
Suarez
Rooney

Would not want a glorified Rickie Lambert at my club. He scored loads in the Championship, which is the same level as Bumdersliga.

Joany Hernandez in what world is Rooney a better forward that Lewandowski, he has 1 league goals this season, Lewa has scored more in 1 match than Rooney in 2015.

Also personally id rather have Lewandowski that Bale as an out and out forward, remember he scored 4 agaisnt Real Madrid he is a goal machine

Fair enough. Let us also suppose Bayern don't need the money, which looking at their clubs current value on Forbes is far more likely.

Wanting the money and needing the money are two different things.

That is where your lack of common sense shows itself.

Bayern have lots of money. But a bigger than his value offer made by us might persuade them to sell.

For example, Real didn't need the money for ADM, their best player in their CL final win but because we offered a huge amount they decided to cut their losses and sell.

Bayern have an entire squad of brilliant players and could survive quite well without Lewandowski and may well like having an extra £60-70 million to add to improving any area they feel like improving.

Not if he is banging them in like he is now and winning them stuff.

Bad example Robb, they had already replaced ADM. he was surplus.

Can't see why Bayern would take the money for their number 1 striker, there aren't many top class strikers out there at present and they would struggle to replace him with a player of his quality, not that they can't afford it it's just that they don't actually exist and if they do they already play for Barca!

Lew is one fo the worlds best strikers, Bayern in no way need the cash, would take over 100 million at least to buy him and even then they may not sell.

Barry is like that twitter legend Beijing Red 4 lyf @Beijingcasuals, he claims to be the head of a Beijing casuals firm who work out of the slurpy noodle and they avidly support United, City and Chelsea, it's hilarious and every time he reels people in. Well worth a follow if you're on twitter.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that one. Barry does indeed reel them in.

Not sure why the tool Robben is slapping his head though. His little brain must be hurting.

They did.

And selling for profit is not cutting your losses

There was no indication that his value would go down as he was on great form. Not really sure what you mean,

Okay, 'cutting their losses" was a poor choice of words.

But I wouldn't say they needed the money any less than Bayern would want £60 or so million for Lewa.

Big amounts of money more often than not turn the heads of clubs. And Lewa doesnt even start all their games. He's replaceable, especially to a side who sometimes start games with no strikers.

Not big clubs who don't need to sell.

And don't even go there with the 80 million for Ronaldo.

You never know in football... Lewa has never really struck me as a Pep type, so there is always a small chance that they would cash in and use that money for someone more in line with Pep.

Pure speculation though

They'd just spent £60m odd on James.
