Grade 2 all over for me.

I tend to go bald Eagle a couple of times a year

Bald eagle is uncomfortable though... regrowth hurts.

I ripped all the turf up on our lawn, just left 1 strip at the top, can't beat a Brazilian.

I just do a grade 2 every couple of weeks, after I cut my hair.

Grade 3 on the sides, 6 on top...

1 cut every 2 weeks means I save 26 x £10 per year, for 15 years... £3900

It's not about money though... my old dear used to do it when I was younger then I just taught myself to do it

Used to do 7 all over
Then learnt to grade, so started doing 6 sides 7 on top.
Then went a bit shorter on the sides etc..

Nah, can't use scissors... I learnt as long as you stay within 3 grades you can blend it ok.

as I said... I just never really ever went to the barbers. Went a couple of years ago and didn't even really know what to ask for ended up looking an idiot and didn't go back.

what do you lot ask for?


Obviously, it also gives me the opportunity to sort my bush

I take my own bowl with me that's the perfect size for my head and length, and just ask him to chop whatever hangs below the bowl.

I go to a Turkish barbers, been going a fair while so they know what I want. The lad is shiiiit hot with the cut throat razor too so sometimes have a proepr shave & hot towel job

Yeah it's shaved on the sides, cut with scissors on top. & blended in, not exactly a floppy mop though or one of those hairstyles akin to an iced gem.

What else have you done yourself to save money Robben, ever pulled a painful tooth out to save a dentist bill, or similar?

Nah, she's mental... got loads of money saved. I said we should buy a buy-to-let, but she'd rather keep the money "just in case"

No, as I said... I'm not tight. I do like to get my money's worth though.

turkish barbers are class, none near me.

Problem with my barbers is it depends who you get. Some are brilliant others end up leaving me with no hair on top.

Treat myself to a proper hairdressers now and then, as I said I like the head massage.

There's one in Barnmeadow Road, Newport only about 10 mins from you.
