The pity is all Arsenals. A truly nothing player.
his better gone from you bitter mugs and at Arsenal, he made the right choice.
I said he was rubbish when at United. Nothing has changed since he left. United fans had a lot of time for him because he was a Mancunian who came through the youth ranks. His inability to hit a barn door was defended due to him being played on the wing apparently. Nope. He was played on the wing because he couldn't hit a barn door. Apparently he man marked Xabi Alonso out of a game once though. Surely the trademark of all great attackers
Welbeck wasnt a poor finisher, what he lacked was composure.
A lot of his goals come when he doesnt have time to think and his finishes are instinctive, thats the sign of a good finisher.
stick him in a one on one situation and he'd fluff it 9 times out of 10.
theres a differerence between being a poor finisher and a lack of composure
Bottle, he had none of it.

Really? Howd you work that one out?
RvP now, that was a smart move, leaving the perennial underachievers to win the league title.

He's distinctly average, he was at United and is at Arsenal. He does at least try hard which makes him a bit better.
I think one thing that would probably help him in particular is proper coaching, telling him where to be and what runs to make because he does have excellent physical attributes just has no idea how to use them.

Welbeck was a poor finisher. But a wonderful man marker who liked to track back

Yeah watching his colleagues fight for 4th place in a sterile stadium from the treatment table is the apex of any players career.

Ace give me a break, Spurs are no team to hold up to inspire to join LOL, what have you ever really achieved in over 30 years LOL
Stop everyone's nonsense on this thread
That video is really brilliant
"We signed Falcao back in August, but he kept on falling"
"I heard about your manager arsene, In sorry"
Quality banter
Welbeck would be a great partner for Martial. Such a shame we let him go. Anyone with a brain would prefer a Martial and Welbeck partnership over a Martial and Rooney one.
Wish him well at Arsenal. Has his flaws but his strengths will always make him useful at big clubs.
He wouldn't be a great partner for Martial at all. He's a below average Premier League forward. If hard work is all that's required then I'll lace my boots up and take the field tomorrow. He really isn't very good
Welbeck is mediocre and surplus to requirements
Merry, you know Welbeck is nowhere near as bad as you often make out.
Its not just simple hard work that makes him valuable. Its the intelligence to run into certain areas that help his fellow attackers. Think about how much Rooney being there messes up our attacks by not making intelligent runs.
Welbeck would draw defenders away from Martial and give Anthony space to run into. Plus Welbeck can finish. He's not exactly the worst player in the world. He did score the winner against us last season with some great opportunist play.

Sometimes you utter sense, but on this u are just so wrong. Firstly, Welbeck was a long way short of being United quality. Secondly your ridiculous appraisal of Rooney's contribution to the club is bordering on the absurd. Trust me I will let you know when he isn't good enough. In the meantime, I strongly suggest that it would be best to "get a grip", as was often used by some as a thing to say in my youth.
