What does a draw do for Rodgers then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A point I'd imagine.
----------------
Haha yeah thank you Captain Obvious, but what about his position as manager?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Makes it dangously close to be ended.
its fine for people to say "you have to expect to lose away at united" "You have to expect a draw away at goodison"
but the flip side of that coin is that you have to expect to beat norwich, west ham etc.
And we havent, he needs to bail out his poor results with good ones, or there is only one direction we can head.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree with this. Performance was poor as well from what I saw (missed most of the 1st half).
Not a good result for me. We could be very far off the top 4 by Christmas.

I thought it was a poor performance. Hardly created any chances against an average team

No leaders apart from Sakho.

That's because Rodgers played for the draw. He decides that drawing an arguably must win game is good enough as he's scared of losing.
We are playing gash at the moment so yeah a point away is ok.
Fair result but opportunity missed. We let ourselves get dragged down to their level in the 2nd half instead of continuing to play the way we did in the first. Some good performances - plenty to build on.

We may well have won if it wasn't for a stupid goal before HT. Players will be kicking themselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True, we could have scored a few but so could they, happy we started the better team for once, good to see the pressing first half. It all disappeared 2nd half and it got scrappy a lot of effort from both teams but sloppy with end product.
Two pieces of poor defending resulting in a goal apiece for both teams.
I thought their midfield was on top though in the second half, but our players battled hard which was pleasing.
Which is fecking hilarious when you contrast the fact we went all out to win a match we only needed to draw to all but win the Premier League.
Is he okay?
First half we were good, second was mediocre
Decent point. Fair result.
Cout was having an off day

That was the result of our flat midfield 3. Another match drawing play from Rodgers.
My stance on BR has t changed, I still think if we can get an upgrade go for it.
What annoys me is everyone can see where it's all going wrong. Players out of position, three at the back, not moving the ball about, sticking with out of form players. Yet Rodgers does nothing about it.

Sakho is so much more effective than that statue Lovren. Get him to fack in January and bring someone else in
Coutinho has had quite a few off days.
Take away his great goal at Stoke and his season has been ropey so far.

I thought he was gonna rip Lukaku in half when they squared up.
