not sure what inflluence it would have on your ability to play the ball to a team mate, but thats fine, it was a particularly frantic one today!
----
Well obviously you will misplace more passes in a frantic game with no time on the ball.
It's pretty simple.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair point, although that could be said about playing any team that presses the man in posession.
it doesnt seem to have affected the majority of the players too badly, 7 of the outfield players maintained a pass rate above 81% with the exceptions being Clyne 69%, Sturridge 65% and Milner with 52%.
So it looks like the passing was pretty bad all down the right hand side..
I wouldn't dispute that Milner is a poor passer of the ball.
That's always been a weak part of his game though, it's not news.
I don't think he should be in centre mid personally.
We have tried it, it's not working.
Only as an attacking one of 3, otherwise he should be right wing/wing back or on the bench.
I don't agree Milner is a poor passer of the ball. If the game was played on stats then I would agree but it isn't, so I don't.
However I wholeheartedly agree he's better on the right. He gives you really good width and his passing from wide, especially crossing is very good. He also provides great protection for the full back. I believe he'd work well in a diamond, when he can go wide when we have the ball and close up when we don't.
I really don't understand why we haven't tried the diamond, considering our wide options.
He's not a good passer TOOR.
Never has been.
Milner was promised he would play in midfield when he agreed to join if reports are accurate.

Well hopefully the new manager plays him wide, after all he didn't make the promise.

His pass to Ings today says different.
You see you are confusing making good passes with being a good passer.
I can make good passes and I'm rubbish.

No, you are confusing making good passes with making loads of easy not so good passes. As I said, good statistically but football isn't played on stats.
I do believe that you're rubbish though.
Football is played on stats.
A score line is a stat.
Milner isn't a good passer. Not because stats so (though they do), but because anyone who knows anything about football can see it with their eyes.
I like Milner, he's a good player, but passing is probably his weakest attribute, and in central midfield it gets exposed.
You can't say milner is a good passer if half the time he attempts to pass it, it goes astray,
Gerrard used to get pelters for 70% pass rates, but he was making incisive passes from deep,
Coutinho is generally making them in and around the box, where there is more defenders and he is typically around the 80% mark.
The position milner generally plays he needs to be successfully completing more passes, he can't play the side of a diamond if he can't link the defence and attack, which he can't.
Toor is always quick to denounce stats he doesn't agree with, but I've seen many examples of him staunchly defending statistics that back up his position.
Pass completion rate of comparable progressive centre mids in the Prem this season:
Cazorla 91%
Toure 88%
McCarthy 87%
Herrera 85%
Fabregas 84%
Milner 81%
