So who I want - Ancelotti
Who we'll get - Klopp
--------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed. But I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with Klopp, he's just more of a gamble.
To be linked with Ancelotti and Klopp compared to Martinez and Rodgers when Kenny left is a massive improvement.
I would love to see Klopp myself. We need a big personality, because we are lacking it majorly on the pitch. He would lift the fans, and I'm sure he'd lift the players. Think he could do wonders with the likes of Coutinho, Studge and Benteke up top
Ancelotti DoF, Klopp Manager. Done.
Agree completely. As you say, Ancellotti is the safe bet who is proved at numerous clubs.
I think Klopp is a bigger gamble than many realise. He's only done it at one club, which admittedly could be irrelevant, or could mean that he was a perfect fit for that job.
It's Ancellotti for me, but I wouldn't complain if we got Klopp. The rewards could be bigger with Klopp, but so could the failure......
This is an appointment we have to get right

4 Defeats and your bratfans will out again
Has to be Ancelotti for me.
I think he'll attract the more elite players.
Klopp having something to prove means nothing to me. It's a bigger risk.
i'd go ancelotti...proven everywhere.
Ancelotti is a manager who works with big budgets and already has the parts to play with ( e.g Milan, Chelsea, Madrid)
The thing about Klopp is has experience in building a team from scrap-ish (e.g Mainz and dortmund)
I really like Ancelotti but could he do it on our budget of £25-30m every summer?? he could attract the big names.
I would prefer Klopp who can spot players that are not as well known as the big stars and develop the team.

Sounds a lot like what many thought Rodgers would be like to me....... If Ancellotti can work with what we've got, and then spend 20-30m each transfer window on one class signing, then he should be ok....

I've had enough of development of players. That's all we ever do.
Lets get a manager that can bring in some proven world class players and get the team making leaps instead of baby steps.
Whoever comes in needs to sort out our defensive unit sharpish. It's needed major work for the past 3 seasons which is why we are where we are now.....
and why Rogers is where he is now.
if our owners don;t properly invest we will keep losing our star player each window and then we will be rebuilding again
Coutinho will be next one to go.
Are they realistic targets?
I could see them both turning the job down if offered tbh

I said that a while ago as well.
I reckon he will be off in the Summer

What you're trying to say is that you can't bear the thought of us getting either of them. I strongly believe it will be one of those two, and that one of them was already lined up before Rodgers was sacked. Otherwise, the timing would make no sense.

Gary Monk is available

A bit of originality wouldn't go amiss. You should leave, you're getting embarrassing.
I think we should get Dennis Wise in to steady the ship. He could be our Director of Football
We should be delighted with either frankly.
That said I could see Ancelotti being more likely to use us as a stepping stone for another club. Klopp is a man more about the project. He's shrewder in the transfer market as well which we desperately need.

I don't think Ancellotti needs to use anyone as a stepping stone. He has nothing to prove, so why should he?

Both more realistic that Roberto Martinez. Can't see Everton letting him go as he promises Champions League football.
