Is Edwards a CM? I thought he'd spent most of this season on the wing. How does he stack up against Henry, vLP, Byrne, Ojo & Wallace?
They must be far better stats wise than him seeing as he was a disaster.

As I said though, its not as if we didn't know Edwards shouldn't be in CM, Kenny had said the same.
I think we should, as always, treat sites like that with a great deal of scepticism. It's easy to pick out the bits you agree with and use them to support an argument but according to that very site Edwards is our best winger.
I am just gonna stick to the 'what gets results' method of looking at things.
What we are doing now is getting results.

We still have the Ojo/Byrne conundrum to solve and need to see if we can keep Afobe a bit more involved but otherwise Kenny should leave well alone.
Yep, ojo or Byrne is one question mark, and the other for me would be the Afobe behind ALF one, personally I would like to see Wallace behind afobe, but ALF offers plenty so not to concerned.
Not sure I'm that bothered that Edwards' passing stats are not as high as Price. More important that Edwards has more goals this season than Price has scored throughout his Wolves' career.
Edwards has also covered 23.7 times the amount of pitch that Byrne has covered and has delivered 2.79 time the accuracy of crosses that Ojo has.
Oh, and he played 16541 times the number of minutes for Wolves that Saville has and played in 172.6254316 times the number of wins for Wolves that Coady has.
He's also captained Wolves more than all of the players mentioned put together (probably).

Do you care that ojo has as many goals and more assists perhaps? In a lot less minutes of course.
Brentford used stats to identify all their transfer targets over the summer. They chose a manager who would by into this method, so I can only guess that stats played a large part in how he went about his job.
Worked out well for them.

you'll rightly praise dave for his winner and his leveller in the two games that saw us pick up six points then?
and presumably yr comment on the stats will have mentioned that coady played in all three of our defeats this season (and kmac in two of them) and that our rise in form coincides with coady's silly sending off?
as mentioned on numerous occasions, sports stats are great...if yr American and/or don't actually watch games and can't comment on how somebody really contributes

And no, it wasn't just coadys red that saw a rise in our form, it was also Edwards injury in the same game, why would you single one out and not the other? If I did that it would be an 'agenda'.
Anyway, our best side doesn't have Edwards in it, simple as that.

Cinci doesn't care about homeless children. He would be quite happy for all children to go homeless, so long as Edwards doesn't start.
