IMO the project of rebuilding United will appeal to him, plus,we would be far more patient with him than other top clubs.
Guess we'll never know.

Indeed they do.
I am looking forward to BR's comments on his sacking when he makes them. And we know he will because he loves the sound of his own voice.

Liverpool are being clever here and getting Klopp before I imagine Chelsea strike. Jose is a dead man walking and they're running out of top coaches they haven't sacked already.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a good move for them one wonders why they didn't do it earlier
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because Jose has been getting steadily worse as the season has gone on. IMO Jose will be sacked at some point this season and Klopp would have been a great replacement. Liverpool had to move now and fair play they did it.

But those are posters who come on here to debate football, instead of WUM, or spend time backslapping the clowns on their respective boards.
Bit like you were doing the other day when trying to bum TCP.
Who the feck are you, to assume WUM/Clowns policing of this place?

This [stick to beat him with] was your mistake. I don't use it as a stick to beat him with.
It is called looking at something objectively.
While every one is quite willing to heap praise on Klopp for the two superb seasons with Dortmund, praise well deserved, no doubt, they tend to dismiss the rest of his managerial career.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I suppose this is where we disagree then VC. I'm not focussing on 2 seasons and dismissing the rest of his managerial career. What I'm saying is that even overlooking those inevitable highlights, he has in fact had a very good career, and that even what might be viewed on paper as apparent failures need to be put in their appropriate context.
In my view there's a huge difference between getting relegated with a big or even medium-sized club and getting relegated with one of if not the smallest club in the division (fyg, in those years Mainz had the smallest ground in the entire BL).

I don't think we are disagreeing really. I am just pointing out that he has had a bit of failure among the success.
This is something that always gets thrown at LVG.

I am Vidicschin. I can assume to do what I want. If you want to be a tool all the time I will treat you accordingly.
If you want to talk football I will quite happily debate with you.
The debate in this thread led me to check the record for Dortmund last season and even though I knew that it had been bad but I was shocked by just how bad it was.
I know they ended up getting 7th place but they ended the season with 46 points from 34 games (13 wins, 7draws and 14 losses), now whichever way you look at it that is staggeringly bad for a top class manager.
Fair enough, VC. I just think those failures aren't as bad as they might seem if they're viewed in context.
I'll also admit I quite like the guy, so it's fair to say I'm not wholly objective either.
Klopp is Liverpool manager and ROI scored against Germany a huge goal. NI look to be going through and Scotland live in hope.
