Be good to know the truth behind why we are operating with too shallow a squad. Was the sale of Stearman really a financial decision when we only got £1m plus add ons a week after turning down £10m for Afobe?

We have no real cover now at centre back or striker. I get the feeling Kenny likes managing a small squad because having lots of players not getting a game is difficult to manage. But to me it's a naive approach. If Batth or Afobe got injured our season may well be over

I am fairly optimistic Wulfrun, but that optimism has the dark cloud of ''what if we get an injury to a key player'' hanging over it, a cloud that should never be there for a team chasing promotion.

We have had one so far this season with Dicko done for the season, and we also got a taste of life without Danny Batth, which turned out to be worse than some thought, but the bottom line is we cannot afford another key injury.

Optomistic may be overstating things, but it's definitely not all doom and gloom as some seem would have us believe

It's not a problem until Batth gets the flu, K McD is suspended, and Afobe turns an ankle in training.

Get Danny a flu jab immediately

Batth, Kmac, Price and Afobe for me are the five we really cannot afford to lose.

Would be frustrating to lose Iorfa, Henry and then of course those with no decent back up, the likes of Hause, Golbourne and i guess the same can be said of ALF as well.

Price? It is time we recognized the job he does, our record with him cannot be put down to luck anymore, he is a difference maker and allows the team to function properly.
