From Balotelli to Lewandowski in the space of almost a season? Yeah right.

Yeah it's almost a funny as Spurs fans laughing about the COC when they haven't won a trophy in 7 years

Shaqiri, as good as he is, was only a fringe player at Bayern. Was he not sent out on loan before his move to Stoke?

Lewandowski is one of the top strikers who has just elevated himself to like the hottest property in the world these past couple of weeks. Very hard to see him going to Liverpool if he became available. Very hard indeed.

Lazy journalism. Top clubs like Bayern don't sell key players.

Got to hand it to the Pool obsessed media, they do try

This is such lazy journalism and completely out of the question in terms of actually happening.

It's probably a link made purely based on the fact that he used to manage him. Not too dissimilar to the Dutch defender De Vrij being linked with a move to United because Van Gaal is Dutch and managed him for the national team.

Only way they could tempt him would be to maybe double his £130K a week Bayern wages, cant see that happening when they are paying Milner 150K a week

No loan, he signed for Inter Milan from Bayern, they actually beat Stoke to his signiture then too apparently

Ok, I thought it was a loan move not a permanent one. It's still a bit different to getting the world's most in form striker at the moment.

I'm thinking it was Carragher who started it. Not content with his bullshiit comment on Spurs, he thought he'd give this one a try.

posted on 11/10/15

The story is in The Mirror - Carragher writes columns for The Mail. What the hell does he have to do with this story?

Ledley, it was a simple joke you know. If you overanalyse every joke they're probably not going to work.

It took me all of 2 seconds to work out that Carragher doesn't work for The Mirror. No need to analysis.

I'll come back later for the punchline to the joke though.

You'd be great fun to have around

'A horse walks into a bar.....'

Ledley: "Why on earth would a horse walk into a bar?"

'The barman asks why the long face'

Ledley: "WTF? A horse has a perfectly proportioned face to the rest of its body!"

It was definitely a "simple" joke.

That's why I thought you'd like it. A simple joke for a simple mind.

Saw this story on the Sunday Supplement this morning.

Neil Ashton said: "Is Robert Lewandoski on his way to Liverpool? he's banging in goals for Bayern at the moment."

I think the key point regarding whether or not he leaves is "banging in goals for Bayern".

Klopp's been in England what? two days, and already the bs has started.
