Cyrus Christie was my man of the match on Saturday by a country mile. Loved his step overs getting forward and also putting in some decent crosses. And is defending wasn't bad either..... Question who is the better coach Steve McClaren or Paul Clement?....http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/297165

I think it is his confidence has returned with 2 settled centre halves next to him, particularly Keogh. On Saturday the cover was also good for him with Russell tracking back better than some other players do.

Forsyth is looking better as well and I hope he doesn't get dropped/rested for Warnock any time soon. It was putting Warnock in front of Forsyth that made me question Clement's ability. Since then we haven't been beaten so I must have been wrong

Christie and Russell gave the Rotherham wide defenders a torrid time on Saturday. I don't think they will have such a good time every week.

So Clement has soved his first choice wide defender problem. What about when Ince is fit though, Weimann or Ince? Weimann runs off the ball and finds space far better than Ince. Ince likes to receive the ball and then try and beat his opponent. Personally, you wouldn't be surprised that I would prefer Weimann.

Next problem, who do we pick when all the misdfielders are fit and available?

Yman for Ince with Ince as an impact sub if needed later in the game.

The midfielders have to hold onto the position. If you're on the pitch then it's your place to keep. Plenty of competition so long as they all remain motivated and not spit heir dummies out. Shipping Ward off to Forest was probably the best move of the summer.

Cant make out whether Cyrus is the new Irish Pele or Irish Wanchope, I do no he plays a lot better when Ince is not the winger in front of him.

The lad gets great support from both Russell or Y man and it show in his confidence. Keep Y man in the team, bring Ince on from the bench.

As for midfield, who cares we probably have the top 5, 6 when Will is back, midfielders in the championship and can play either 3 from five and we would be comfortable.

Who replaces Thorne tomorrow, Baird, Hanson or Hendrick? I would go with Hanson.

posted on 2/11/15

Hendrick with Johnson playing in Thorns role would be my preference.

He'll go with Baird though Im sure.

Usual back five. Plus Johnson, Hendrick, Hanson.
Plus Martin, Russell and Y-mann.

Ince, Best and Baird as subs depending on circumstances.
