There is something about Madine's body language that screams a lack of confidence. Whenever the ball comes near him he just doesn't seem to have any drive about him. Its a shame as the has the attributes to be a decent target man, but he doesn't seem willing to throw his weight about.

He's had a lot of chances this season but finds it easier to put it over the bar than in the back of the net.

Oh yeah, he can't shoot to save his life but the other aspects of his game have a chance if he was just more willing to try to use them. He has shown on occasion that he is capable of holding the ball up and playing people in. He just doesn't do it often enough.

I wonder how many he puts in during training?

We should take a punt on Kevin Nolan. He would come and is a more capable goal scorer that all of our strikers combined despite being a midfielder.

Im pretty certain he would wan't to sign as well, we just need to get him to reduce his wage demands, but if nobody comes in for him he's going to have to relent soon if he want's to continue playing.

He's probably waiting till around the Christmas period when clubs start to look to strengthen their squads.

Shame Lennon has said it won't be happening. That said he said the same about Ameobi yet we still signed him, so you never know...

Lennons permanent signings have hardly been a success. Amos, that's about it. Casado has made a promising start, derik looks one for the future-as a centre half not right back. The rest have been very poor.

That's what we have to do, unearth the next big thing or take a chance on someone down on his luck and turn their career around. It's worked for us before.
