What time is the match? 8am?
Burnley's best three players are out. That should keep the margin of defeat down by half a dozen goals.
I wonder if the crack head, ex wolf and Mrs Moxey will be in charge by KO ?
I take it you'll be listening to WM and not going to the game in this wretched weather Unc ?
"Four goals from just six shots on target"
That's an impressive start to the match thread, Halfikins.

Not that impressive if he's had 1000 shots off target.

It is impressive, but also coincides with some terrible performances from Wolves ! Hopefully it's not linked but we'll see

A heat map would be helpful so we can see the distributory stats in graphic representation.
morning halfy
sh!t day for it: grey, wet and gloomy out. let's hope wolves can surprise us and give us a decent performance over 90 minutes.
4 goals from 6 shots is pretty good going. no wonder all wolves fans now think Edwards deserves his starting place in the team. if only afobe and a few others were showing the same commitment and skill this season.

Given that he's one of the senior players, perhaps we can give Edwards the role of "Player/ Coach", if that were possible, (if he were able to earn some coaching-badges along the way). His influence could help stimulate his team mates, and it would maybe be a stepping-stone to his managing the club one day.

Nobody can accuse me of being a fairweather fan - I listen to the radio whatever the conditions outside.
In other news, I am going to Blackburn at home on the 09th April.

we need someone with a bit of vision, who knows what it means to wear the shirt with pride, and being a full international dave also brings a lot of experience to the role.
i'd certainly be thinking of making him club captain, and maybe even matchday captain.
I'd make him CEO and be done with it.
couldn't do a worse job than morgan for a tenner.
Precisely - plus he actually has more energy.
Edwards has earned his place in the fans' affections, whereas Morgan paid for entry, and ended up with a fraction of the respect. Of course Edwards still has more to do, but could he one day be here as a successful manager? Would it be in my lifetime?
When was the last time we had a manager who'd previously played? I can only think of Shirtliff, and that was temporary.
