For a big lump, Drogba linked up many times with Mata and Hazard. I remember it all too well.

When Spurs were in trouble Jurgen Klinnsman went back to help them, do you have somebody who could do the same?

Biggish are you using the points tally of the 4th placed team or the 5th placed team? Because really you should be using the points total of teams that finished 5th if you want to use a benchmark.

I still think Chelsea are good enough to beat anyone and I do think they'll find form. Not looking forward to 28th Dec as I think things will have changed by then.

But I agree, 59 points from 26 games, is an unrealistic expectation. We're not going to go from relegation form for the first third of the season to title winning form in the last two thirds.

Why not? We went from title winning form in the first 3 thirds of last season to relegation form in the 1st third of this

The point is one is much easier to do than the other.

Personally I'm not that bothered about not getting top four for one season. The important thing is that we make sure we have a really good summer transfer window unlike last summer where we had a shocker of a window.

Yeah we'll miss the CL money for a season but in the grand scheme of things it won't matter that much with so much PL money coming in anyway these days.
