It's just another reason for fans of other teams to get their pantaloons in a twist and blame Rangers for the woes of Scottish football.

The key phrase in the SFA rulebook is "reserves its discretion" , I can't see him having a case. Further, re th gagging order, isn't it the case that neither party can talk about the details of the contract ? If so, what details did King divulge in his interview ? The % etc are in the company accounts , you don't have to be Harvey Specter to identify them as being onerous!!

Piff there's plenty of hatred for all things Rangers across the Scottish football spectrum. I've seen Scottish football forums where the hatred is quite ridiculous. It's not just for Celtic fans.

rats, fair play, Ashely however only saw pound signs at Rangers, he should just get what he is due, when it is suitable to be paid and dissapear, he is a fat smug looking barsteward imo, I get it from Jambos, Hibbys and Dons fans for things that don't concern them about my club, I can imagine it must be even more grinding for Rangers fans at the minute

Some people don't need an excuse. At least there are some (even Celtic fans ) who can see through this nonsense and call it for what it is. Hopefully Ashley is only making more enemies throughout the Scottish game and that can only harm his interests.

I know there is a lot of wumming on here, and I would imagine that most reasonable supporters of other teams hopefully recognise that Ashley is in no way good for Rangers or Scottish football generally, but going by social media, there seem to be a lot of 'socially conscious' type people who would be delighted to see Ashley get one over on King and the incumbent Rangers board.

They may say that Ashley is less unpalatable than King, but it's not just about King. It's the whole board and everything they are doing. Wumming aside, if people cannot see the turnaround in Rangers in so many ways since the new board came in compared to the period where it was being run by Ashley-influenced people, then they obviously do not want to see it.

The phrase 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' comes to mind, and there are a lot of people who shouldn't give Ashley the time of day (if their self proclaimed social values are to be believed) who seem quite happy to jump into bed with Ashley in the hope that he will get one over on King and the Rangers board. Just look through history to see how that has went; there are many recent example including Assad, the Taliban, etc. which prove the dangers of that approach..

To these people I say, listen to the messages that are coming out from Rangers. Check out the recent interview with the MD Stewart Robertson. Rangers are heading in the right direction, and appear to be looking to do so in a more humble away. That is what everyone should want. If you don't want that, then I think you should be looking at yourself and your own values.
