I think exciting things happen throughout time. It just so happens a lot was discovered at that point in time. I bet it wasn't so different than a large swap meet. Bunch a crap with the rare treasure found for the lucky person.

Umm, I don't think you get to just witness events of this time. You actually have to live in them. So there is a risk you will get dragged into action or wars.

Yes you go back or forward with the knowledge and personality you have now.

Okay then 1990, just got first house, food was cheap, petrol was cheap, household bill were a lot cheaper, music was great, I was out at least twice a week on the pi$$, going to gigs all the time, good times.

I will go back to the late fifties / early sixties and have sexual liaisons with Marilyn Monroe - she will obviously let me because I know many films.
