Doesn't he have the best goal/minutes ratio of any PL striker this season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said its when he has a run of games he disappears. He is good as a sub and bit part player so does look good on paper. But playing every game takes its toll on him and his performances drop dramatically. When he came back from injury last year is a prime example. He was great for about a while but the last couple of months of the season when he was no longer fresh his performances dropped and a lot of fans wanted him replaced. Not just with anyone, it has to be a good player.
Its not hard scoring when Ozil lays them on a plate for you.
Giroud scores goal after goal. Hee world class. Only aguero is better in the league than him
You won't know whatsoever good for us until you've lost him
Idiots
What a silly article. Giroud scored our only goal, and would have scored the penalty as well. Not a top striker and went missing at times, but certainly not the reason we lost today.

Having Tho rather than him as first choice changed us from top 4 challengers to genuinely looking like challenging for the title. Giroud comes back in for a few games, gets tired and WBA beat us. Really supports your point of view doesn't it.

He didn't do enough to cause them problems for most of the match. As I said he does have qualities but is not good enough for us. Campbell was more of a problem than Giroud apart from getting on the end of a good Ozil ball.
He's a good player but he's unable to score goals out of nothing.
Looks at Aguero his now picks up the ball 35 yards out goes past a player and then bang for 25 yards.
Giroud scores goals but let's face it they are put on a plate for him most of the time. How has he never scored a hat trick for us.
Today summed up Giroud perfectly. Scores goals but not the right striker for us.
Not having a go at Giroud though. I like him and he does a good job for us.

Giroud has never been a top striker and at times went missing today, everybody agrees on that. But he has become a convenient excuse and a punch-bag for frustrated fans lashing out. Still, he scored and is not the reason we lost today. The key moments were the awfully-defended WBA free-kick, Campbell's miss, Coq's injury, and Arteta's og.

he's scores pretty much every game for us and you think that isn't the work of a world class player
Yeah blame Giroud....for the loss today
Now I've cooled down a bit following our defeat today I realised that I used the wrong ord. "blame" is not right. It is not his fault that Wenger continues with him. It is not his fault he is not good enough to play week in week out.
What I should have said is that Giroud playing was a big factor in todays result as he is not good enough to lead the line, not that he is personally to blame. I apologise, but still want him out of the club I have supported for decades through thick and thin.

It's crazy how under appreciated and underrated Giroud is
One of the best players at our club and would get into every team in the league bar city
Unfortunately fans who don't actually play football will never understand why Giroud is the reason why we have no fluidity and are so open defensively.
How can a striker make us weak defensively is the usual silly question?
Quite simply Giroud doesn't have the pace or movement to allow a counter attack game. So we are stretched through our midfield. Players like Alexis are taken out of the game because a static striker allows opposing defences to keep him on the outside/wing. Whenever he comes to the inside the CBs can easily snuff out any danger because they don't respect Giroud's movement in behind. At that point we easily lose the ball and get counter attacked. When you have slow spine in behind that usually means you remain vulnerable at the back to easy counter attacks.
We slaughtered Man Utd, Leicester City (two teams ahead of us) and even beat the mighty Bayern with Theo's danger behind the opposing back lines. And we were far more secure at the back because our CBs weren't drawn up the pitch. Contrast that to when Giroud starts. Slaughtered by Sheff Wed and Bayern, beaten by WBA and lucky not be beaten by Spurs. But those who don't understand football will still defend Giroud.
Arsenal's win percentage this season with Theo Walcott starting (all comps) is 78%. With Olivier Giroud starting, the win % is 36%.
Just to backup my point!
yeah stats can show you everything .....just the way you like it.

So by trying to show Giroud fans their lack of football knowledge, you show yours in an essay.
Giroud scores goals after goals. He's makes plenty of assists too. He has one of the best records in the league and he wins us games with these goals (bayern Munich)
He has world class positioning and finishing. He has world class placement and teamwork. All of these contribute to his world class ability. I haven't seen a better striker than him this season and only Aguero has more ability.
He is always getting back in defence too to help us but primarily he is a striker so strikers would be further forward...
You can always rely on him to be in the position that our midfielders would want him twin order to create a chance.
Unfortunalely someone with a football brain as small as yours will never understand the excellent ability of one of the best strikers in world football

At least my 'essay' had some valid football points. I will remind you of this c/ck sucking clap trap just like I did 'John' from the old 606, after he professed how Bendter was better than Augero.
