England people like judging bowlers very early. How long did take Anderson to start performing well in Asia?
Not only since like 2012, that UAE tour where England lost 3-0 did he actually start being effective in subcontinent conditions. Ashwin has only played 30 odd matches and only around 7 away from home.
Ashwin like Yasir Shah need to prove it away from home. He has benefitted like an Anderson and Broad do with favourable home conditions.
James Anderson as taken 426 wickets so far...266 at home so 156 away.. considering home players tend to play more at home.. hes done pretty well away from home..

If I recall correct in 2012 in the UAE.. England bowlers bowled very well. It was the fact England kept getting bowled out for less than a 100. that cost us the series..
How many 5fers has Jimmy scored outside England?
I dunno how many??? ashwin shouldn't be allowed to go abroad with the record he has..
Not defending Ashwin but when he play overseas he's hardly used and as the fast bowlers are utter tripe the opposition don't need to take any risk whatsoever against him. They can just milk him like a cow as they know the fast bowlers will leak 4-5 runs an over with ease.

Really a hone track bully that Anderson
SA wickets have been tumbling again. 103 for 8. I wouldn't say it's a terrible pitch. There has been some poor batting and some good bowling.
SA batting, barring ABD, has been a disaster in this series. I guess this is the worst ever for Amla and Faf. Their confidence seems lost.
When SA leave India, I reckon their bowling will still be pretty good with Steyn, Morkel, Rabada, Abbott, and Philander. I think they will remain weak in the batting department for the next year or two.
Total blockfest by Amla et al. I quite enjoyed it. Old school.
