How's it daft?

Studge is clearly on the road to early retirement.

If you look at Fowlers career for example he started off strong and gradually became dogged with niggly injures which knocked him out of his stride. The same goes for Owen.

Studge has had injures from the get go. Chelsea fans used to moan about it.

If you can explain how I am wrong in the light of all that I'm all ears.

The likelyhood is Studge will never be fully fit.
----------------------------------------------------------------Because you're saying Sturridge should retire at 26, for the sole reason of us getting insurance money. Like I say, daft.

He might as well do for the amount of games he playes for us. As I said before he's no use to the club huge wages and hardly any contribution. Simple as.

But that doesn't mean he's going to retire. Which is the whole premise of your idea. Otherwise we're selling him for peanuts.

He's a year in year out 20+ league goal striker when fit

He's very underrated

Just thought of something regarding Sturridge posted 0 seconds ago has anyone noticed all his injurys come in training yet when playing he gets kicked all over the place and doesn't get injured?

Well, he doesn't really play all that much recently, so you can't really use it as grounds for comparison.

But yeah, he does see to get injured in training a lot.

Such a shame, because he could be up there with our best ever goal scorers stats wise I reckon.

He's played for us in 7games in the last 12months. With now the high tempo and pressure Klopp wants to implement I don't think Sturridge's body will cope. We either sell him and take a hit however can allocate his high wages to another striker. Or keep him as a reserve striker someone that comes off the bench. I am now inclined to sell him and get someone that will play minutes for us. Impact injuries I can forgive but the constant rehabilitation and injuries probably is a mental block now he is scared to feel an injury so does.

No evidence to support this claim.

Q: What is the difference between Daniel Sturridge and a tomato?

A: One is red and if you squeezed it in your hand, it would fall apart. The other is a tomato.

I'd take Sturridge at Arsenal. Best CF in England after Aguero. Would keep our young injury prone British players company in the treatment room, too

No he's not. Please tell me where he has proved this? Spent the best part of 2 years on the treatment table. Harry Kane is by far the 2nd best striker in the league behind aguero. No striker is better than Harry Kane bar aguero at this moment in time. Biased coming from me? Probably but not many would disagree

Obviously I mean premier league, not the world.

Harry Kane are you facking serious 😂 Costa, Lukaku, Vardy, Benteke, even Giroud are all better than Kane.

posted on 27/11/15

Errrr yes I am serious. How the f*** is Benteke, giroud and Lukaku better than Kane Kane 35 goals in all competitions last season, 9 goals in his last 6, ... 22 years of age, enough said. One of the most consistent strikers there is and one of the closest things we have had to sherringham and shearer in years. Words by the players themselves before you laugh. Kane is the 2nd best striker in the league. Only a biased bitter arsenal fan like yourself would think otherwise.

posted on 27/11/15

Vardy just unreal. The guy goes on a decent run for a quarter of a season and is nearly 29. Not long played non league football but is better than Kane? clueless

posted on 27/11/15

Giroud wetting myself here. The donkey that is probably the biggest flat track bully in the league. Barely does he influence a game and barely does he score goals against the big boys. Harry Kane does on a regular basis and has made a habit of scoring in the big derby games. Harry Kane is no doubt better than Giroud.

I think Bats really got to Don with that comment. 3 replies in a row

Kane has been playing at the top level for about a year. All the players listed have played at a higher level than Kane for much longer than that. It was just over a year ago Spurs fans thought Kane should be shipped off on loan to a Championship club, now he's the 2nd best striker in England. How embarrassing 😂😂😂

posted on 27/11/15

Don, you said (quote) "No striker is better than Harry Kane bar aguero at this moment in time."

That is simply untrue.

Hypnosis or a brain transplant. Sorted

Ripleys cat, clearly meant in the league if you read the whole comment. At this moment in time Harry Kane is the 2nd best striker in the league. No one can sit there and tell me Benteke, Vardy and giroud are better. You have an argument for Costa but even he's been rubbish this season.

Bats, talk about contradiction. You claim I can't say Kane is the best due him playing at the top level for a year or so but then claim Vardy is one of the best strikers even though he was playing non league football only a few years back

posted on 27/11/15

That 12mil fee is looking better now

posted on 27/11/15

Don, yeah I knew you were referring to the league.

I take my comment back anyway. I didn't actually realise just how good Kane's form has been over the last few weeks.

posted on 27/11/15

Ripleys, scored 9 in 6. The guy is a Suberb striker and the fact that an arsenal fan sees Benteke, Vardy and giroud as better strikers speaks volumes. Like I said costa you can have an argument for but can you honestly tell me any other striker is better at this moment in time? Bar obviously aguero

No!

That's why I said I'm taking my comment back! I'm now agreeing with you!
