The whole not showing the price with tax thing does seem pretty stupid.
It's because every state has its own sales tax rate. Some are around 10% whilst others are at 0%.
zero tax from newegg.. not sure why but it's true.
I get 15$$ credited to my card for using visa checkout
It's not difficult to apply tax in your head. Plus I'm sure some of your smart phones have a calculator if it is.
