Rob Edwards to be promoted which if I remember right was the plan all along when Mr Jackett left.

Edwards did well with the youth team which ironically is now the first team

Would be a smooth transition if KJ went to QPR, and we brought in a good successor.

Can't say i would be that concerned right now if he were to leave but can't see us giving them permission anyway.

Jez will feel emasculated so will react the only way he knows, and thats to dig his heels in.

Said last year that Edwards would likely be next in line, not sure thats a good or bad thing, and i guess it means a continuation of the current plan which appears to be failing anyway.

Just as a side point.

Makes you wonder if other clubs do think that the situation here isn't kennys fault after all and that he is working under very tight conditions.

If beavermush is working under v tight conditions then what's rowett working under ?

Who wasted the transfer budget the last 2 summers?

Other clubs can think what they like, we know who the culprits are and Jackett is one of them.

I agree roger, but it is strange that a club like QPR would even approach Kenny after what we have seen this season.

If it was because of the last two seasons then yes, he has done a fantastic job, but this year is a feckin wreck and it is mostly his fault.

They were probably impressed how he got rid of our over paid dross and want the same job done.

might actually be a good point.

Jez might not dig his heals in. We would get compensation if QPR take our manager. The way things are going at present, there is a chance he may have to sack him anyway, which means paying out compensation. Jez gets a bonus every year based on financial performance. If he has a ready made replacement in Rob Edwards, seems like a no brainier for him.

Rather get a new owner before a new manager. Would be a nightmare to get a new manager then a new owner comes along with different ideas. But I guess it may depend on whether Jackett wants out. He got out at Millwall when he reached the point his career might be tarnished if he stayed, and he might feel the same here

How often do new owners actually sack a manager immediately? I can't really think of many occasions and particularly not if the manager is doing well.

We probably won't get new owners this season anyway, so I don't really see the issue.

surely after the terry connor fiasco, we wouldn't lose one manager and then appoint an untried coach from the same management team?!?!

oh sorry, its M&M we're talking about. hello mr edwards, we've been expecting you!

That may be true tam but I would quite like to see a change all round at Wolves. Morgan, Moxey, Thelwell, Edwards, Jackett - not sure any of them can hold their head up really. And most of all I would like to see Moxey move on. Not a popular figure at Stoke and they prospered soon after he left. Could be the same for us with decent owners

sad news - the qpr rumour mill seems to be suggesting they really are after a new manager. jimmy floyd hasselbank

but good news - burton are thinking of making an approach for KJ

QPR just playing the game to force a few hands i expect, JFH is the likely target.

Wouldn't have a problem with a coaching continuation idea, but when the 'plan' is not currently working, what are you continuing?

I see Murray cemented his place as one of Britains greatest ever sportsman today then
