I'm sorry to say that Sterling's game is tired and predictable. More often than not, he will carry the ball close to the bye line then cut in on to his right foot; fails to see good options quickly, attracting more and more players to close him down. Loads of right backs know this, hence his losing the ball so cheaply.

Sorry. Was a bit presumptuous. Loads of right backs seems to* know this....
We need Kompany, we also need Zab but I don't think their return will immediately solve our problems.
I'm seriously thinking that Ancelotti on a short term contract may be a solution, Chelsea maybe thinking the same thing, so we need to act.
A manager with a brief to manage what we've got already who hasn't got any favourites or feels he should pick a player to justify a large transfer fee.
At least it is better then watching your side create numerous chances and still make it look impossible to score.

What has this thread got to do with the human waste experiment that is old Trafford ?
I have more interest in my wife's conversation with her boring old friends from university going on in the other room,I have more interest in the shipping forecast

Seem to remember this conversation going on way back after that Bayern match at home.
I presume Pel's raising our injury list is positioning the owners to expect to spend some money in January. We need some depth of individuals who don't pick up injuries, or to look at our training methods. All teams have injuries, we seem to pick up a lot to our key players and need to try to recruit some less injury prone or look at why those we have spend a lot of time unavailable. Not sure we have had more than one or two available for every game? KDB and Itchy?
We need to get rid of bony I have had enough.
Getting out of bed and walking to the kitchen this morning spent more energy than he gave yesterday.
Bony was a beast of a player last year at Swansea, we have signed his twin brother.
It still mystifies me how easily Dzeko was allowed to leave.
Felt like the right time for Dzeko to leave at the end of last season. Bony won't settle in for some time though I don't think, and that's if he ever does.
We do need a Negredo type, someone must be out there who can be the 'Bull at a Gate ' centre forward. Not a tricky guy like Sergio, but a direct runner. Recall Denayer in Jan if we can, MDM is past his Best Before, gave us 1 good season but other than a guest appearance in front of the back 4 in games that have no relevance he can't help much now.
All our top players have had periods where they've played badly but we've supported them because we know what they're capable of.
Bony has drifted between being average and being terrible, l cant see him having any future at the club.
...it also highlights the perils of making snap buys in January.
The decision to feck Denayer off on loan was a disgraceful one, smacked of favouring his mates at the time and was clearly just that
Was that entirely his decision, or did Txiki have a say in it?
Unfortunately you will win it. Arsenal will not cope with the injuries and everyone else is garbage.
Bats Leicester City might win premierleague this season, the top scorers always have a chance and now they are improving defensively.

Not sure about the defensively bit, Swansea could've had 2 or 3 yesterday
Leicester City only lost one game and got attackers on form. Why can't they win the league. I expect them not to finish in top 4 but on current form they can win the league. 15 games is a lot of the season for it to be a fluke.
It'll be great for the Prem if Leicester are top on News Years Day...
...as long as City are only a point behind with a game in hand.
Reason why I expect them not to finish in top 4 is because surely they cannot sustain this. I can't remember the last time a side that was bottom of the league the season before for a long time to top the league the following season nearly mid-way into the season. I rather Leicester City win it if we can't.
I'm pleased for Leicester and hope they finish second behind City with Southampton and Tottenham making up the top 4. Won't happen but allowing teams into Europe who are just boring shouldn't be allowed.
