Notice the article did not highlight that in spite of our crap, we are 3 points off top spot and equal points with the team "walking the league."
BBC gossip column states that you will look for LVG's successor at the end of the season. That you will table a £50m bid for Kane. Mourinho on his way to you?
Mudd, I said they will walk the league. You may not be aware of this but we walked the league in 2013 but in December of that season we were level with City.
7 draws in 10 games. At least City have Aguero , Kompany and Yaya to come back. Who do we have to come back to arrest this slide?

Mud - it says the club are more concerned with our current league position than performances.
Bottom line is if the boring, laborious, uninspiring football resulted in a league title or cup win then it could possibly be excused, however that is very very unlikely.
Why therefore stick with a manager churning out turgid football to secure 3rd (which by the way should be the minimum expected given the spend and Chelsea's implosion)
We would be mad to miss out on guardian if he is available simply to give LVG a 3rd season in the hope he somehow flukes the title
same old drivel i see
Robb slating LVG and his style, and Cleverson just behind cupping his balls and licking his @55.
yes we know we are boring, but so are the amount of monotonous articles youre creating about it
Dink, there's nothing else to talk about though. Unless you wanna...

Why are people so upset when its pointed out that LVG has done all he can and should be moved on for the betterment of our team?
The post below sums it up nicely.

Mud - it says the club are more concerned with our current league position than performances.
========
So the club called up the Guardian and shared that info with them, right?
End of the day, we are level on points with City and 3 points off top spot.
Let us see how things pan out
MUD - And would you be happy with performances continuing as they are and finishing 3rd?
It's a great article Robb, if you agree with it. Would you say an article with the opposite view was great?
It is opinion, that's all.
Whilst I agree with some of it I disagree with parts of it.
But that's just my opinion.
Finding someone in the Guardian who you agree with doesn't make it fact.
Mu52
Thing is, I don't know if anyone could write am opposite view as the evidence isn't there in which to refute it.
He could easily write an article about LvGs successes in the past, how it took time to implement his ideas.
How he is putting in place a bedrock of talented youngsters, whilst giving home grown players opportunities. Getting us top four in his first season, and maybe in a position o challenge for the title in his second, with only needing a small improvement in form and maybe one new player in January.
You get the drift, somebody could think that was a great article.
Maybe mu52 but a lot of our failings are simple things that a manager like LVG should know better than to make
I think he I doing an OK job, not more. Some of his decisions are baffling to me. But I don't see what goes on in training, what his thoughts on the opposition are.
But,like all of us, I would much prefer to see great attacking, winning football. But maybe it takes time.
It took SAF five years and a stroke of luck (Cantona) to do.
Indeed mu52 but LVG was brought in on a 3 year contract with a monstrous amount of money to spend.
He should be doing much better at this stage. I genuinely don't care if we don't win anything under him. I just want to see fun football. Its really not that hard to do.

No, I am currently not happy with the performances. This is the thing a lot of folk on here struggle to grasp.
I am not happy with the performances but bleating on about it everyday when we are within touching distance off top spot is silly in my opinion.
Save it for when we are adrift, then I will join the fray. But for now, it is just pointless noise especially when our players miss sitters every week.
Maybe you just want to see fun football Robb, but its not all about you.
