Biggest game under LVG. Time to step up ok!

As bad as it sounds I think I would rather go out than finish second, the thought of drawing Barca or Bayern isn't worth thinking about, it would be embarrassing.

Maruice Moss I would fancy us to go through against any team over 2 legs under LVG. Look at the World cup the dutch side were supposedly rubbish and he was one goalkeeper away from maybe going through to final.

This game will show exactly what van Gaal is like as a Manager when his back is against the wall.

I'd honestly love for us to go to Germany and give it a serious go. If we're there to just sit back, pass the ball for the sake of passing it and wait for that one opportunity after 60 minutes, then we don't deserve it.

As for drawing Bayern and Barca, it may be embarrassing but this is what the Champions League is about!

We will play the same way. Pass..pass..pass and hope to nick one in the last 20 mins. That may actually be our best bet for once

We will play how we usually do pass pass pass shoot shoot shoot etc but make simple chances look impossible to score.

I can't believe Man Utd manager who has Man Utd playing the way I want Man Utd to play and he thinks the same about games and bad games overall

Tron van Gaal

I have a feeling we will go all out tomorrow... Make or break, do or die.

We always go all out under LVG. Its a trademark but sometimes it is only for one half

All out to draw?

We won a lot more games then we have drawn under LVG. 36 wins 19 draws 13 losses.

That tends to happen when your squad is worth £10s of millions more than 90% of the opposition.

LvG is a fairly cautious manager and it has worked quite well... He does not go all out though, even the 3D from world must show that?

But tomorrow... He will unleash the creativity of his team... I predict a wild, crazy 0-0

Interesting Moyes playing 17 games less still managed to lose 2 more games but the draws mean both LVG and Moyes amazingly have a 52.94% win ratio.
LVG P68 W36 D19 L13
Moyes P51 W27 D8 L15

Hypotehetically lets say all these games involved 3 points 1 point or 0 point. The points per game would be for LVG P68 127 Points=1.867647058823529 points per game.

Moyes P51 Points 89=1.745098039215686 points per game.

I went to OT and saw Ancelotti. He must think for a charity match it is crazy how packed the stadium was.

Good stats, Tron

What happens if you scale Moyes' games up to 68... Using an algorithm to calculate win/draw/loss?

Robb LVG has matched Moyes win percentage with a worse squad. LVG genius

Now we just need Ronaldo back. I predicted he will come to us when he is 32.

LVG definately has a worse squad then Moyes.

Robb funny how highly rated LVG and Blind was before they came to Man Utd and are now slated for doing exact same thing.

Yes, we often win 5-1

A more apt link would be to the Costa Rica and Argentina games

Just saying if the attacking players weren't so poor when it matters we would be thrashing teams by 4 or 5 regularly. We should have hit 5 at least against West Ham United but wayward shooting put pay to that, likewise against Newcastle United, Wolfsburg, PSV home and away games. LVG is made to look clueless due to our attackers.
